Im back for a second. Took a nice long relaxing break from the forum, who knew the grass was green :uhoh: Bet yall injoyed the no kes for a few eeks lol. No exploding planes in the front yard, no rearranging or remodeling, no busted Cue balls or pool sticks anywhere. Yall probably saved a fortune with me gone lol.

Anyway, I will more than likely stay gone, the break from forum has been great. I have actually had time to do my school work and be a teen. Better than killing myself over this drama show of a forum that's for sure. Im just dropping by for one last vanilla coke before I head on out.

Beautiful day out today. I went to Ocotillo (desert) before sunrise yesterday, and when I left at 7:30am it was already 87F. By afternoon, it got to 110F, but I was long gone. It's a little nicer at the coast.

I opened the big Jolly Roger ice box, pushed aside Jason's latest body bag, and retrieved the Oreo ice cream. Shakes all around, both spikey and and un-spirited.

Jason, we gonna barbeque that thing? Need to thaw it first, probably take a couple days.

Did you happen to be on the beaches near Oceanside Pier sometime on Sunday afternoon? I was at the beach, surfing with some friends at the time (it was a beautiful day, btw), but while on shore I noticed a fine gentleman piloting some type of RC multiple-rotor device. He was speaking to another man about the operable range on the device; something I recall you talking about on the RC thread. I looked closer at the mini-aircraft, and noticed it had some sort of mounted camera.

Everything about it screamed you. Considering that you were recently in the area, I nearly approached this person to start a conversation, in hopes of finding out more. I decided against it in the end.

If it was you, then whoa, that's awesome. If not, then oh well.

That's funny, I *almost* went out to Oceanside Pier on Sunday afternoon, but I was too tired from my pre-sunrise jaunt to the desert. Oceanside Pier is definitely on the top of my list for video targets, including the surfers and fishermen, and pelicans.

I've been seeing a lot of multirotors filming around town. We were at the fair on Saturday, and some of the fair workers were piloting one over the crowds on the main walk... maybe not too smart, as they weigh a few pounds and could seriously hurt someone if they came down.

If you do see another quadrotor at the beach, mine is black and yellow, and I wear a Taylor Guitars cap when I'm flying.

uh guys...I hope you have a good reference for a roofer, and really good insurance for plane crash damage.....your parking lot was full so I had o try to land on the roof....and I might have stopped by earlier in the game too......oopsies, ill post the pics for your insurance claim soon

You can park there every time if you like. It certainly doesn't hurt our building, but it is entertaining for our patrons to watch.

make the roof a little flatter...I tried wedgeing myself g=behind the chimney...and ended up doing a flip right over the roof cause my landing gear got caught on the peak of the roof...

Wish we could man, but considering all that has went into building the JR, and making it practically "everything proof", the one thing we can't do easily is remodel the exterior. You're just gonna have to learn to deal with what we've got. In the mean time, Manfred, pop some popcorn and help me set up lawn chairs up on the hill. This should be very entertaining!

BTW, I'm out of the hospital and home in Orlando. Thanks to everyone for the well wishes. I would like to especially thank Kes, Dr Dave, Davy, and especially Manfred who went above and beyond while I was not doing very well.

THIS DEFIES EVERY LAW OF GRAVITY AND AREODYNAMICS...I CAN TELL YOU THIS, I USED TO FLY FOR THE NAVY..IF YOU WATCH THE ONE WITH WITH THE F-15, they also LOST A WING AT ABOUT 15,000 FT IN A MID AIR COLLISION WITH AN A-4 , THE PILOT OF THE F-15 FOUND HIMSELF IN A SPIN, WHAT DID HE DO??? HE LIT THE AFTER BURNERS.....THE THRUST ALONE SLOWED THE SPIN ENOUGH TO GAIN CONTROL, AND EVENTUALLY LANDED THE F-15....ALL THE LAWS OF GRAVITY WERE BROKEN DUE TO A LITTLE THING CALLED INERTIA ! JUST LIKE THIS PILOT DID WITH THE STUNT PLANE, THAT BEING SAID, LETS NOT FORGET THE SKILL AND FAST THINKING AND MOST IMPORTANT A REAL SET OF BALLS!!!

I was surprised; I didn't think I was close enough for loser points to put me over, thought it was still over 500 or so. Just glad to beat the target i set a last August, less than one year.

I've been playing almost 2 years, and I'm not even close. For a while, I could stand the glitchy updates and all, but I finally got sick of it and started taking 2,3, and even 4 month breaks from the game. I stay on here, because this is fun, but the game hasn't always been. Right now it's doing well though, and I'm stuck at home in "recovery" mode, so I've been playing more this week. I see that I'm going to have to buy some DF coin though if I'm to continue. Right now I feel kind of limited.

Oh the inevitable fun of getting back in game. I get to see what a buch of c(edited)s some people are. I've never been a big fan of all of the squad rules (no spawning and such), but I am beginning to see the point. Especially in lopsided games. I can't say I enjoy being hosed off the runway and never given a chance. Oh well... I'm just going to have to get better again, keep upgrading my planes, and try to remember who does that crap so I can teamkill them later or something.
