FYI for all concerned. I just noticed that when I attempted to PM somebody which got rejected that their name came up very strange perhaps something concerning the use of non conventional letters in the spelling.

A few players have said they can't message me , but I still get some messages ,strange I know , but I will change back to normal lettering if needed

yes i had same issue as the letters are not recognized sometimes by the webmaster if i try to message you it comes up error but if i reply to your pm it works

First off let me clarify the the whole "troop" expression.. Pretty simple really, we're a para military organization.. This happens to be fact, as it's the whole Squadron thing, and the basis for our chain of command.. It's also something that unites this squadron as opposed to devises, so we should all take comfort in it and go by a few built in requirements for "para" military..

For example all our time should be expressed in 24 format.. IE; if you had a good game at 4PM it should be expressed as "had a great game at 1600 hrs".. Because we're world wide (which is WAY cool) this actually works better as it's easy to convert it into Zulu and know exactly when you're playing.. Or... Uhh...never mind because it gets confusing trying to explan..

Legionz.. As doggy said above it appears the symbols in your name allow us to respond to a PM, but not initiate one.. The take away is the best part of Wolf Pack.. You're in a caring and supportive Squadron that takes care of its own.. Your call either PM and let us respond or a temporary change to your name that omits symbols.. One way or the other we have your back..

Congratulations to Pmoon, and Bici.. (Huge WOW on 2K hangers) and a welcome to both Condor, and Ghost Flames.. I'm confused (a seriously normal state these days) about Eagle who I had thought was already a member..

Quick rehash on the "Para Military" thing, I just reread my post and it sounds like a directive.. Nope, just an example posted after to many cups of coffee.. However I'd like to hear what our newer members think about the following..this is for conversation / discussion only and not reflective of how I fly.. Few absolutes below, but i'd hope a lot of interesting thoughts..

Everyone in DF is united on spawn killing.. But how about some grey area issues.. Sneaking is seen by many to be a major NO.. I'm not so sure, what's really wrong with it, and because it takes a plane so long to reach target I don't know that it has an advantage.. Also if your looking for a sneak you can generally find one..i personally have no issues with it, and see it as advanced tactics..

You're on an equally matched BTH mission.. One of the Reds goes to tank all the way down the field..by not killing him you give your side an edge in planes, but how long (if at all) do you let him go untouched..

Your carrying two bombs as most of us do.. When if ever is it acceptable to drop one of them..

and lastly what is your favorite moment in DF.. Mine is leaving base with one or two teammates, with the drone of multi engines in your ear, you've all climbed to an altitude where you'll be able to use your rifle if you bailout.. What follows is less than 15 seconds that seems like minutes of suspense, waiting for the first red to appear on the map.. Will you be shot down, will you score three and get through with your windshield shot up and trailing smoke like a 35 year old diesel truck.. Suddenly reds show everywhere, your screen is full, and all you can hear is three other machine guns opening up.. Life's good!

Wow these are all good questions. Sneaking should not be frowned upon. Tis game is not a bowling match where you charge down the middle a 1000 times in a head to head shoot up. Zup would have not made such a large field to play on if that was his intention. Use the map and its features to hide and glide. Pull the enemy to your position and allow your team a chance to gain enemy territory. Push them further back and mix up your approach.

I've always said the creator made the playing field a square not a rectangle. I like a mountain run every now and then. Up the middle everytime is like a boring football game.

I just seen I now bombed 101 hangers , over 1600 kills but all ruined by 500 extra death

Yes my stats are slowly getting better but for those that think I should have way more kills and hangers

Here it is,I had to post it by going to the forum through my chrome browser rather Than through the game link. Hell of a game! Probably lasted 2 hours! Lots of players swapping in and out, TXlawman was in for a while but I think he got booted.
