Regarding the inactive players my suggesting is to create a post from the CO to all stating we will be monitoring the game, forum, and squad chat for a certain period to gauge activity and figure out who is playing and who we can cut. This covers us from the people who are inactive due to school, lack of face book, or whatever reason and wonder why they are cut. We can refer them to a certain post with a date and time and cover ourselves from looking like we are cutting for any other reason.

Dire made a comment about all the open discussion. I agree whole heartedly. We have something pretty special and I'm proud to be a part of it. I have played several games long term, and always hoped for something like this. Of course the games themselves are what brings people together with a common interest. But, can any one of you claim the forsight of the creation of what we have right here, right now? I can't.
Thanks to Squeak and Digger, Pistol, Dire, Silent, Viper, and Black Wolf, and anyone else I've interacted with in my short time here. You all make the difference in a stay-at-home Squad versus your run-of-the-mill blah squad.
My opinion on inactive members is simple. You chose to be a part of something, and you applied to become an active member. I understand. Life happens. Family will always come first. But say hello from time to time. Show your face. Heck...send a quick note to the skipper explaining your situation, but don't be a no-show, no note, no nothin' nobody. Step aside and make room, if only temporarily. We'll be here when you're ready to get back to the Pack. Just one wolfs opinion. I'm not out to ever step on anyone's toes or throw anyone under the proverbial bus in the desert.
Our leaders have enough on their plates. Show some respect and show face. Ok,I'm done.
For more interesting news, I have started the creation of a Squad Facebook (Group)page. Most everyone these days uses Facebook, and I thought it might serve as a quicker way to get a note to the squad. There are some more options available there. Can I get some opinions on that idea, please. It will be set as private, so only members of the group will see the contents.

-I vote yes on the "united we prowl, together we howl"--will be adding it soon.

-Viper, I think monitoring, as you suggested, is an excellent way to engage players. They can post on Sq. Chat/WP Sq. page etc. One quick note, I have heard of a way to turn off chat during actual games and some players use it. So, lack of in-game greetings may be due to this, as well.

-As we remove inactive players we will potentially drop sq. numbers. I hope folks continue to look for the best and send recommendations to Digger and Viper. The best recruiting is how well we treat each other in games and chat. I entered a game last night and G.I. & Misfit members sent the WP howl out to the Wolf Pack members in the game--NICE!! HB has even made a special howl just for our pack.

if yall want to recruit more(don't take this the wrong way), but yall need to be more social able..what do i mean? during my time away from this squad(the reason i left was to go around and develope my username)....i seriously thought this squad was dead(or close to it)...only reason why i knew there was somebody in here was still kicking and breathing was before i saw that yall's thread keeps being bumped once every few days, i saw dire wolf once every 3 weeks.....i never saw a WP in the world chat lobby (or in any games, but lets leave that up to chance)......when blackwolf was talking to me in WC some days ago(few days before he recruited me) it was the first time i saw a WP in world chat...i was honestly very surprised to even see a WP............yes, yall do talk a lot in the squad chat lobby, but yall should chat in the world chat lobby every once in a while...just your appearance is sometimes all that is needed for someone to want to join your squad

Point taken Angelic. I have to admit I was guilty avoiding WC due to the drama reported and observed there and guilty of enjoying the smaller squad. I was kinda looking for the "Hey, these guys are good. Who are they?" type of recognition. I am glad to have you onboard as your mere presence will give us some really good publicity.

HB is great guy and hands down our best ally outside this squad. Ever since I have been here he has spoken very well of our squad and even persuaded someone we were the squad to join.

Love the full slogan and will update tonight. I should actually get some flight time tonight!

Lots of friends and family visiting the Dire house this weekend! I'm checking in, but not going to fly much this weekend.

Angelic Silencer--I knew I'd seen you around before you joined (or rejoined!)and had seen your posts on both the Forum and WC and very much liked them. Very glad Bwolf recommend you!

Sky Wolf--I too felt a strong "Wolf Pride" when the other squads howled to us. Great stuff.

Alright, I'm off to be a Wolf in Human Clothing--yea, it happens! Hopefully will get to fly some tomorrow.

I must admit, this is my first foray into the den of the Pack. I'm impressed.

I was even more impressed by the hunting party I found from the PACK tonight, which included HOWLINGWOLF leveling up and very nearly gaining his first star!


This was an hour-long slugfest that included a LOT of me whining about Win 8.1 PC'S ability to seamlessly maneuver, aim a chute, fire s tank, and react instantaneously. That swerving fire that Viper used on me in the end was downright infuriating, especially since on my screen the bullets went right past me.

Enough babying. Good game Pack!

Just remove "kev" from between the parenthesis in the beginning and end and it should look like this
