Hey manfred lol. Me too man.
Howve u and Jack been? Im still retired. Only stopping by to see some real friends  . Ive been hanging around for a few days, and man nothings changed. Forum is still full of drama queens and kings and just total downright idiots. Only place I even feel welcome on this horrific forum is home at the Rejects HQ and Here.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We are Thankful for our patrons, so our contribution to Black Friday will be 2 for 1 beers all day. While the wife is out spending the years profit all in one day, it won't be long and you'll be too drunk to care! Call it a public service...

The only tripe you'll find inside the building is a 1/8 scale model done in balsa and red silk. Oh and the stuff that Chef Horrible has stewing. Mmmm, now I'm hungry.

 Bar is open! Food is fresh and greasy. I mean, the grease is fresh and foody. Err... they don't call it Comfort Food because you're worried about nutrition! We finally got the soda fountain nice and cold and bubbly; but bottled soda (pop for you northern halves) seems popular for those with a good supply of virtual pocket change. First batch of oreo shakes are making the rounds. Kestrel and Weatherman have first dibs on the pool table - no I'm not giving you guys darts. Besides, Davy's got the whole set, said he'd sharpen the tips and muttered something about a new tattoo. Do you really want them back? It was beeeyoootiful in San Diego today. Sunny and 68F. A little muddy after this week's downpour, but the constant sun was quite soothing. Tanfred

i agree with the long week feeling. it is only tuesday and i am ready for the end of it. absolutely frigid up here. in the mornings it really does resemble a freezer with the fog. i usually save the real complaining for when the walk-in freezers are warmer than the temperature outside. so at least that has not happened yet. ha!

Might get some rain at the end of the week, Manny. As much as I love sunny San Diego, switching it up a bit is always nice. I love that rainy season weather (except for the traffic it causes, dammit).
It's the closest thing SD will get to a winter. Besides, we'll be needing that rain in this crazy drought.  |

Luna, I was filming over by the southeastern end of Lake Hodges a couple weekends ago. The water is so low. Hopefully these two storms will help the situation. In sunny places like this, folks don't pay attention to their tires and wear them down to slicks. Then they're surprised when they hydroplane in the rain. Heck, they can't even drive when it's dry. Just earlier, I passed a rollover accident on I-5 south where the 805 bypass splits off. Looked like someone tried to exit at the last second and cut across the bypass lanes, but didn't quite make the exit. From the looks of the car on the flatbed, they swerved off the freeway so late that they got airborne over the descending offramp and smacked down into it. Yup looks like the weekend will be a wash. Too bad, everything we've got planned is all outdoors. Was. Manfred

Working a lot of odd hours... Making a buck here and there. It's kinda cold here compared to the usual. Other than that, things are ok.
