check out flyzone. They make a micro Albatross, Nieuport, Se5a and Fokker triplane. I have 3 of the 4. They are all easy to fly and parts are easy to get.

These are all plane's in the game. You can fly these almost anywhere.

There is a 6 inch ruler in the picter's for reference to size... They fly excellent.

I have posted these before. They are pretty basic with lots of scale look and easy to fly.

OK. I looked at em. I gots to get me one of those!!

Dent:

I really like the Nieuport and found the DR1 flying really smooth -

Maybe not the best first plane for me for restarting but the cost and performance look great!

Thanks! Appreciated and enjoyed!

Ordered the Nieuport 17 this afternoon from HobbyZone - got an extra battery, free shipping.

Chose it after watching all the vids I could find on it and it's companions (DR1, SE5, and Albatross). The vids of the Nieuport that impressed me the most were hands off flying and trimming for a constant turn and one showing straight stable flight with no control input.

I am impressed that these really look good in flight and not some small jumpy and erratic challenge.

Excited...

I used small magnets to add the gun and pilot. I'll take some pics of how I did it..
Nieuport's a good choice...

I should have mentioned this earlier...make sure you ordered the ready to fly. Or Ready to Run. I forget how flyzone market's it..Not the transmitter ready unless you have a transmitter.....

Got RTF - amazing to get plane and radio for $100!

I was wondering about these 'cheap' radios so did consider getting a Spektrum 5 or 6 channel but the saving on the plane was only $15 or so.

I have to watch my obsessions and not go too fast! I have the RealFlight sim coming too, the basic version.

Fun -

Great shots! I am amazed at how real they look, especially the Nieuport - the silhouette shot (083) of it totally reflects it's outline. Looks like it is coming back from the front on a late afternoon.

Nice job Mrs Dent!

After flying all 3 again about an hour ago, The Nieuport and the Fokker are the better flyers. You'll be very happy with the Nieuport iQQi.
Mrs Dent and I every once in awhile take picture's like that to hang in the computer and other rooms.
She suggested we do it for the thread... ;)

Depends on what you want to spend Bomber. If you want to keep it cheap I would suggest possibly one of these, but not the albatross...possibly even the Se5a....there are many others out there..I will post a picture of a big cub you can put on float's later....Like I said it depends on what you want to spend and where you are flying......

Sorry Bomber, I got caught up in some other thing's. I'll take a look at some thing's online and see what I can come up with....If you have alot of room get the Nieuport or Fokker....I know how they fly....I learned to fly on my own. With those, You could to....they are easy to fly....
I don't know about a plane with the engine in the back that small.... These plane's are actually pretty tuff birds.....Glue, Tape and some spare parts and your set...

Basically I just want to check my banner is in place, can't get on MOM, so if you guys don't mind I'm checking it here.

Didnt get to fly my little spitfire on Sunday, felt it was a bit windy, though it can be flown in windy conditions according to the hand book, but I figured better safe than sorry. If you google Model Zone and then look for Ultra Micro Spitfire they have a video of it in action.

Oh that's Model Zone in the UK by the way.

Boomer:
I looked at that one too - the 250 Nieuport, I went with the Flyzone Nieuport - it will be fun to compare experiences with different models of the same plane. While I flew R/C years ago I'm back to being a beginner again.

Waiting now for the postman so to speak...

Get the RTF Ready To Fly....

which one is the Nieuport 250? The one I show is the Flyzone....
There is no assembly Bomber....They come Ready To Fly.....

EDIT: Do not get the Eflite Nieuport 250. That is an ARF. Almost Ready to Fly...You will need a transmitter, speed control, motor, receiver and servo's....You'd have $400 into it easy....
I have it still in the box waiting to be built.....

I'm off to bed, tuff night at work....

Boomer:

I got the one from Flyzone - the RTF - just needs YOU to fly it, nothing else. Dent is right!

I got it and an extra battery shipped for $103.

There are several videos on it on Youtube - fun to watch - also some on the DR1 which I think it looks great flying - I looked at all the vids on the three planes before picking the Nieuport. Dents stills that he posted on it confirmed my choice as a good one.

Part of the fun is doing the selection - take your time.

Bomber here's the Pic's again.
I suggest The Nieuport and the Fokker. They Fly alittle smoother and Seem alittle more stable in flight....There are many other plane's out there that would fit your bill. I'm just going off of experience. I just flew them again the other day to post some pic's.... Here are some more...

If you would like me to post some seperate pic's of these plane's bomber let me know...
