Please don't do anything in haste Mike. You were one of the reasons I wanted to become a misfit , we will become a lesser force without you. The game needs people like you to survive. I really hope ,after a break if nessesary, you stay with us ,but what ever you decide to do , just remember you will always be a much loved misfit and a top man.

I don't believe what he means is that he will be leaving, rather taking a break and not continue to support the game financially.

I choose to no longer support the game financially as what one is calling a premium package is nothing more than me paying for the same game that the non payers are not paying for and playing. Here's my reasoning, if I'm paying for a premium product, then supply that product. What I'm getting, clogged servers full of non paying players and more lag than ever before at times. Here's the description from the play store from the latest update.


So basically, if I watch three 30 second clips I knock off the wait time 2 minutes per vid, hmm watch free ads, play for free or pay for premium. Kinda like going to the appliance store to buy a dishwasher. Has a sign on it that says 30% of sale, wow great right. They don't tell you that they marked it up 30% then put it on sale.

I'm saying you can support this game without paying, he gets something for each ad watched, hope this doesn't get a ban as it is truth and not insult.

I can relate Sir Cannon. While my flying has been limited, I've been wafering around the forum. Maybe not a good idea. Been working my tail off along with a couple other members of the Community to re-launch this Hall of Fame. Our goal was to bring something really positive to the community here. Wondering if it would even dampen the negativity now. But, quit is not in me, so I will continue on. Hate the thought of not running into you every time I fly. It is quite a challenge to try to evade your deadly aim!

Okay...so I had to share this I have been flying for almost two years and haven't deviated much from my name. I jumped into a mission last night and saw someone saw "monster". My natural response was "where?". A brother asked me if I was Monster which had me laugh out loud. After a short moment..i said "time to morph into Hulk" to which another pilot said " ur Hulk?!". What the heck is going on? Morning Misfits! Once again, after 5 days of not wanting to get out of bed to go to work, it's Saturday morning and I can't even sleep in an extra hour...I will never ever figure that mystery out. Curses!

Been a tough week for me. I found myself more vocal than usual, posting on threads debating with others, getting over involved with stuff that really at the end of the day I shouldn't give a rat's you-know-what about. It's stupid really. Arguing or debating over a video game...especially with some players that know everything and have their noses up the maker's arse...ok enough.

I hope that it's ok to bring this up, but I feel it needs mentioning. We lost a good guy yesterday. Pete, I enjoyed every game I played with you. I chatted with you one Saturday a few months back and we talked about all kinds of stuff. You mentioned the Philadelphia Flyers and of course I'm a Canadian hockey fan (go Flames) and I enjoyed it... I have a feeling you'll make your way back here. I know we'll talk again sir.

Anyways, I'm not ready to pack it in yet. I really did think about deleting the game and walking away but that's pointless...I'll just reinstall it again anyway. It's this family that I can't walk away from. I have made some friends here which is what I did not expect from downloading a random flight game. You guys are what matters.

I'm going to limit posting outside this thread. I keep forgetting that I have blood pressure issues and it is not worth it to get upset about stupid stuff anyway. Sorry if I offended anyone...

Now I'm going to see if I can go kill a red or two.

Well.new job is cool.i hope.to get qualified for driving next week. Then get a physical and yet one more drug test for a dot card then i can go on my own. So far the days last around 14hours and thats cool.my runs will be up.in maine and Vermont and new Hampshire. And one local run in mass. So far so good .

I talked to 2 longtime players who has either quit or is in the process of quitting because they don't like the games being balanced all the time and they are having problems flying with their friends. I was able to play a game this morning with TR and we had a ball. It's very seldom that we can fly together any more for whatever reason I don't know. Dawn patrol is pretty much been taken away.

I can easily find misfits as red but not blue and I can't seem to change sides very often.

Given all that DOGFIGHT is still the best game out there and the misfits are the best.

Been up all night battling water in the basement Tried sleeping for a few hours but never really feel asleep because my feet were and still are freezing form standing in ice cool water for hours.. Got all the water up now and trying to drying everything out, carpet-clothing and getting as much as possible off the floor so it can all dry out. Oh and the washing machine went out at the same time!
Just what are the odds on that happening eh? So now I'm off to the laundry mat to clean and get everything dry.
So tired!!

All because of a little plastic cap on the water softener broke lose and it was spraying out like a firehose..

Ugh i know this game. Woke up early one morning and went up front to start coffee. Was about 3 steps into the kitchen before i realized i was walking in water. Water heater element had started leaking. I was lucky, i drilled a bunch of small holes and let the water run into the dirt crawlspace under the house, shut of the the water and fixed the leak, then called floorman for some new vinyl!

I had some good games this morning with my brothers, Wabbit, AD, and that new guy Globalwar Ming. He is a good pilot seems like but the poor guy keeps insisting he is Davy Crockett!

sir Co[M]et, we have all been there. I have come to the conclusion that some people only argue to argue, doesn't matter what the point is. If you say the sky is blue, they will find a way to say you are wrong. We have all gone through it, at one point I told myself I was no longer going to post anywhere. Well that didn't last very long, I pick my battles now. I read the garbage, but seldom get involved in silly fights. I do most of my talking with lead bullets, in game. It's easier that way.

I feel you Sir T! When my Husky was about 6 months old, she chewed through the fill hose on the washer. Woke up to about 10 inches of water in the basement. Had to go but a utility pump. My Wife and I had been dating for a free weeks, she came out to help. Took over 8 hours to pump the water out. The part about it I remember mist was, I jumped into the water, waded over and shut off the valve, then realized the Dryer, Water Heater, and Furnace were all under water. Never once thought about all the 220 when I got in the water. Never wanted to kill a Dog so bad in my life!

Good morning Misfits. I got a lot to do today...haircut, packing. Then off to Killeen this evening. It looks like a 3AM start. So at this point, I'm playing it be ear as to when I'll be back up...if code 7 naps, I may be able to fly today. I'm hoping certain folks of df start realizing that the current practice of banning someone because of criticism will change. I like the game, but a waitress will lose money if she kicked anyone with an opinion out of a restaurant...Just sayin.
