No matter how many changes have been made to this game, there are always those who seem to have visions for this game that just become fing ridiculous at times.

We have a modern carrier in the middle of a lake, we have a big arse rifle when we bail out that can take out an airplane and a ground crew faster than nascar pit crews who have that tank ready wherever you land on the map. Give me anti aircraft guns at base and on the boat that I can fire and gun points on the zep, that's realistic and more realistic than that, you die, you die, you die, ooops spawned.

Ikr! This is a flight simulator game.. Meaning not real!! This is a game still right? So let's treat it that way and stop trying to change the game we all fell in love with in the first place.

Muhammed Ali was pretty good at that too! The mark of the truly great ones is making the adjustments needed to win the prize. You are one of them buddy.

Boy oh boy...on one thread I'm sticking up for PC players...cause I am one...but I'm voting for long range kills to stay the way they are...all while the rest of the PC players I think are voting for the change in ballistics...

Want to run something by all of you and get your opinion before I post a thread or even decide to do it.
As most of you know, I spent a bunch of time last weekend trying to revive the Dogfight Hall of Fame Calvin started. My main interest in doing it was I really liked the way the DF Community got involved with it. Got it all pretty much sorted out, then some points were raised about it. Basically, it became a popularity list. A couple comments were made about giving it some real integrity and meaning. Wha do all of you think if:
1. It became a monthly based induction.
2. Nominations and votes would be limited.
3. Each month only one Member would be inducted.
Say, a nomination period ran for 10 days. Each member could only make 4 nominations. Nominations would be based on Skill and popularity among the game, forum, and DF Community.The list of nominees would be posted, then a 10 day voting period would start. Each member could only cast 2 votes, and not for the same person.
At the end of the voting period, the highest number of votes would declare the winner. In a tie, game ranking would be the deciding factor.
Besides just their name, maybe add game level and rank at time of induction. Maybe toss in number of kills, etc.
Want to get opinions from all of you before I decided to do anything. Really would like to see something in place for all the game and forum members that stand out. Plus bring something positive for everyone to get involved in besides all the threads that are full of negativity. Calvin had a good idea, but it is just way too involved.

No intention of disappearing Brother Comet. This way would make it a bit more special and be way less involved. Plus, I know at least BlueFighter is willing to be a part, so more than one person would have access to the list as a backup plan! Don't get much game time right now, don't want spend it all pouring over hundreds of names and numbers. Thanks guys!

Although as a viet nam vet with 20% disability who served to protect freedom of speech I take great offense over the forced name change however zup is the owner so I will abide. The name was no where as offensive as many of the others that I've seen and it was definitely true lol lol.

I will say this, quark I don't like you, I think you are the biggest creep of the game, I have absolutly no respect for you in any way shape or form.

It's sad...I saw a lot of truth in the previous name...because he does suck.

So I heard some news earlier today that truly puts life into perspective as well as hitting close to home. A co worker of my wife was attacked by a man with a gun as she walked to the train station in Chester. She made a run for it and was shot by this man in the head and thankfully survived as the bullet entered her neck and lodged in her skull. This I just confirmed through local news and Pete my friend, she is in your hospital at this moment.

Any who, this has played heavy on my heart as my wife was attacked several years ago on her lunch break near her work not far from this current attack. She too struggled as a man tried to steal her purse and suffered a black eye and minor fractures to her face.

So this latest attack reminds me just what environment my wife and her co workers deal with on a daily basis and how little concern for life there is in the area. I'm relieved as she will be (she hasn't heard the news yet) that her associate survived with no major brain trauma.

Live, love and be happy my friends and a special thought and prayer to her family and husband that they get through this with no serious mental anxiety.
