NLRs, I read something on forum that made me want to touch on the subject here. Back in the day we NLRs wouldn't fight each other if on opposite sides. That is no longer the case with me, hasn't been for quite a while. We have great pilots and I wouldn't pass on an opportunity for practice against terrific fighting styles. Just in case any NLRs had a question regarding this topic ever go through their minds, but didn't post said question.

I will not shoot my fellow NLR teammates unless in a dogfight, and we agree to stay, or in the case of training .My whole reasoning for being in a squad was thatt we would be there for each other and have one another's back .I must say I'm troubled by this

I was just passing through and this caught my eye. Is this real? Is it a common sentiment?

I understand wanting to support your squad mates, but don't you come here for the fun of a good challenge? It seems like a shame for you M.O.M.s to not fight each other, so many of you make up some of the game's toughest players. That's one of the troubles I had with being in a big squad (the Misfits); it was a drag when squad mates didn't want to fight each other. I always felt we would miss out on the challenges that certain players bring to the game. No big deal here, it's just a matter of your own preferences.

But allowing red squad mates to bomb your own hangars is different. You are abandoning the mission and betraying your team. Wouldn't it be better to just leave the game? It seems to me it would be better to switch sides and make things unbalanced rather than undermine a game for others on your team because you want to be loyal to your squad.

If this is a wide spread thing it may really have a negative impact on the game as a whole. Think about it: something near 1/4 of all Marshals are M.O.M.s. Aren't you here for the good fights?

I would never want to leave an NLR outnumbered in a losing fight. (Well, I actually did gang up 6-2 on *420* once but she made it hurt!) I would far prefer to have NLR s as blue, but sometimes the luck of the servers sets up a great game with squad mates on either side. In many cases I would rather play it as it was dealt rather than have someone try to switch only to have things get out of balance, or worse, for someone not be able to make it back in! I love having squad mates to team and to work out strategies with, but we also have some truly great players! It may sound strange but I love fighting when I'm at a disadvantage either by numbers or skill. It's exhilarating and great for pushing and testing myself. I don't think that killing less skilled players helps me to improve as much. I leave many games where I feel I have an advantage but I leave very few where I feel at a disadvantage. (Usually only when the real world calls) I actually made Jasmine promise that we could still fight if I joined the squad. crazy huh?

But knowing your position on the matter, Ace, I will do my best to switch or at least leave when I spawn in and find you're red. Just know that I consider you to be a very worthy adversary and my willingness to fight you has never been intended as any sort of a slight.

BTW,

I'd actually prefer to team up in dogfights or just goof off. Fighting NLRs is fun there too but dogfights can have a lot of good team too. MOMs have their optional "rule11" and Misfits often ask each other "AAA or AAM?" (all against all, or all against Misfits)

I could be wrong but I would venture to say that not than half of the time they do not target squad mates in df games.

Though as I said before, I really do like the challenge that NLRs present.

my opinion on this is kinda in the middle. I feel like our teamwork and tactics along with our smaller size with focus on growing in strength rather than numbers is what sets us apart. MOM has almost 200 members, so chances of them not facing another MOM is slim to none.

This really only applies for the two bombing missions as we should use these as an opportunity to practice our strategies rather than oppose another NLR Member. However in Zep and CTC i have no problems and rather enjoy testing myself against the greats here in NLR! So maybe this could be a way to please everybody if we always make an effort to fly with rather than against fellow NLR members in bombing missions, but in the others we can play where we are put? And as for DF missions we could come up with a system like McFate mentioned to just play it by ear each time. Just food for thought.

On the last topic, amateur pilots (in military) only scrimmage each other to build their skills. I feel we can do the same. It's with love. When a NLR pilot is red I actually feel I need to push myself even more to prove myself. I gain a great feeling of accomplishment out maneuvering and killing/bombing Mcfate...eh hem I mean an NLR lol Don't feel like you are putting down a fellow NLR, rather that you are building them up!

Just search google for manually uninstalling the appp from your device. Mere deleting and re-installing will not work.

Had some great matches last night NLR!!! Vivek-Ishan and I had a fun BtC vs Wig and B52, and then this DF where i had 15-0 in the bag but that dang 420 got me!!! and might I add got to 15 before i could lol. Its been great being a part of the NLR and being part of such a drama-free family environment. We fly together as a team, communicate while flying and use tactics and strategies to make the game more fun and played how it was meant to be. And being able to do this with the likes of McFate, 420, Ishan-Vivek, Reid, AceLink, Cschrom ect ect ect (the list goes on....everybody here is just deadly and lots of fun to fly with)!! So a big Thank you to all of you for making NLR such a great place to be!!!!!
