I've done a lot of reading on here, and it really seems like a whole lot of trouble to go through all of this. Granted, some things should really be listed here. Most things seem like some bored kid who doesn't worry about how seriously some folks take this game.
What has worked for me several times has bee to simply call for a pause in game play, and to make said rude person the object of everyone's affection until they either stop, or leave. It usually works like a charm, and requires no further action or discussion.
I am not suggesting to do this to everyone who throws the occasional hell or damn out there, nor the guy who takes a few spawning runs at the opposite team. I promise the Japanese @ Pearl Harbor were "spawnkilling" every aircraft they could. Now, what could be described as "relentless" spawning... Yes, it's bad taste.
My personal pet peeve is a teamkiller. I do believe giving a couple of warnings... But beyond that, it's on.
I just figure rather than "blacklisting" every jerk who logs on and acts foolishly, we might instead police our own game. We can do this if we stop fighting for a minute and take care of these problems. It'll save a lot of headaches.
I know that this already happens sometimes, but it's very hard to get the whole game to stop for a minute for this. If we will do it more though, it will become a part of the "culture". Remember, your mortal enemy on this round, will probably be your wingman on the next.
Ok. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone
