Still getting the Zeppelin glitch but I must say that other than a few players planes getting a little jerky the Lag has been nonexistent for me for a while now! Whatever you did to eliminate it, great job Zup!

Should Elite running (using a joystick/throttle instead of keyboard) keep my screen saver from kicking in on Windows 10?

I know it's a simple fix to just turn it off or set the timer to 3+ hours for mandatory food/latrine breaks, but it seems to me that the screen saver never used to kick in while the game was running, but it's started happening over the past couple days.


On a more annoying note; I don't think I've ever been "kicked" in DF-1 or Elite . . . last night it happened in at least 50% of the games I was in.

I Don't read this thread so pardon me if this is a repeat. I fly on an ipad3.
Capture the carrier game i was under deck on the red carrier. Took a few hits from red plane, not enough for the kill. Timer running out so I exit the plane to soldier to reset the timer. When I returned to the plane the windshield holes were gone. I assumed the plane was repaired. Probably not what you intended.
Zup did u intend for players to be able to reset the timer by exiting and reentering the plane when on a carrier? Actually if u exit and re enter sometime the timer does not reappear at all.
Next thing is the placement of the fire button for the soldier. It is sooooo close to the directional button that every time u shoot, it changes your aim point.

Had a protect the zeppelin game the other day and it still only took out 4of the 8 hangers. Maybe give us back the bombs in that game so we could finish the game?

Not sure if this is deliberate or not, but shooting someone in parachute doesnt count as a kill.

On occaision, when I hop in the front of the bomber, the gun looks to be shooting but no tracers and no hits. Then other times all is fine. Nice, two hits for each one.

Bombers , you mean there are still bombers . I play nearly everyday and have'nt seen a bomber in weeks.

Well, Dogfight Elite is officially 1 year old. Here is a list of things I wrote down to fix and to do shortly (still waiting on Unity to release an update after new years). Please go over the list and let me know if I forgot something.

Dogfight Elite to do:
- Lower the required rank for ww2 games.
- Fix bombing tanks not working.
- Fixed tank aiming blocking the view.
- Change bombs on airplanes so they look better.
- Adjust keyboards controls so that they are not w/s/c/b
- Parachute on the ground, can it shoot?
- Zebrap, kindle bomb carrier mission when getting into tank, not able to move, turn or anything.
- Bomb the base, all hangars destroyed but game still on.
- If you are riding the bomber and it gets shot down, the game freezes.
- Tanks roll over way too easy when driving with screen joystick (android/ios)
- When you parachute on zep/bombers games and you are back, it shows you with bombs although you don't have them.
- Screen saver is kicking in on windows 10 if you play only with joystick.
- When playing capture the flag, sometimes it will say you need to return your flag to base first when your flag is already back at base.
- Add ww2 bombers
- Add option to upload your own paints
- Version for facebook gamecenter
- Option to screen record the game
- Rewrite network for photon?
- Add faster chat system.
- Improve terrain look for desktop/xbox
- Fix join requests listed the last, they should be listed first.

Sometimes guns don't work on bombers and Zep.

I don't know if this is a bug or not but is there any way to fix when your connection gets lost half way through a game to be able to return to that game. I am playing on a galaxy tab A and when I go to throttle up it makes my screen minimize. When that happens it loses connection. My issue is not the connection being dropped as much as the fact that it will not put me Beck in the game I was in. For instance if I am in a BTH game and lose connection it puts me in a CTC. I go out and go into a CTF game then I go out and it puts me in a BTH game with just me in it. I know that there is a lot more important issues with this game that needs to be addressed first but if you could look into it? Then please do and thank you.

Here's an oldie but a goodie (hopefully not a dead horse) . . .

When you hit escape to pull up the match status window, it covers the chat box. It's not the biggest gameplay issue, but it makes it hard to give everyone the customary "GG" prior to the match ending.

Sometimes, when you hit the esc button and then hit it again to close the status window, it turns off your guns (maybe bomb too, I’m not sure).

And since I see a few things on your list that are more wishes than fixes . . .

It would go a long way toward improving overall the enjoyment & WOW factor of the WW2 game if you could up the plane speeds.

The cruising speed of a P-40E was about 580km/h (310 kn, 360 mph); at two of three engine bars, mine is hitting 197 km/h (106 kn, 125 mph) . . . comparable to my old Albatros D.V.’s 186 km/h (100 kn, 116 mph). That’s probably the easy (or at least easier) part.

Hand-in-hand with that would be increasing the map size of the WW2 game to allow for the increased speeds.
Going by some ancient maps hidden in the forums, I think the current map is 10,000 yds. x 10,000 yds. (9 km x 9 km, 5.7 mi. x 5.7 mi.). Growing it to 40,000 yds. x 40,000 yds. (22.7 mi. x 22.7 mi.) would be awesome, but I’m guessing that would be the mother of all lag fests. Going with half that would still give us 11.4 mi. x 11.4 mi. to play with , or even just adding length to the field could give us 11.4, 17, or even 22.7 mi. of distance to close.

1. On the matter of tanks rolling too easily, that happens in windows 10, too.
2. Not able to record in windows 10 tablet use, the record button is behind the team chat/world chat button.
3. Not sure if you can do anything about this or not, but now that game does not go full screen in windows 10, it is possible to close game accidentally by touching the "X" in upper right corner.
4. Also not sure you can fix, but the action center panel appears from the right side if the right edge is touched, and connection is lost.

All on Windows 10 tablet, latest updates installed.

Interesting . . . it must be a platform specific thing; if seems to work with Windows 10 on PC. I'm pretty sure we don't get points for a kill, but it still registers "shot in parachute by".

Here's a weird one you probably already have on your list, Zup:

Every P-51 I see in game is flying around with their gear down. I'm not sure, but I think the P-51 pilots may see their gear as up, but the rest of us viewing them see it as down.

Ok quick question , when I post on our thread the quick reply , reply and quote buttons are out of sight as my page seems too large . All other posts show the right size with buttons in view . Anybody know the solution to this ?

I'm going to guess that your new "MID-ATLANTIC DAWN PATROL" banner is wider than 700 pixels (it looks like it’s probably 1024 x 218 at 72 resolution). If you scale it back to 700 x 149 and bump the resolution up to 96 it should fit like it used to and look better to.
