My favorite songs by bands from stated time period :
any song by U2, Bon Jovi, The Beatles, and men without hats; "Another one bites the dust"; "Viva la vida"; "Hotel California";
"We're not gonna take it"; "Carry on wayward son"; "Drops of jupiter" (sang that to my GF once);
"Mexican Radio" (the one by Wall of voodoo, it's so delightfully wierd! No Idea why I like it though :huh: )";
And so many more songs, lololololololololololololololololol

My dad's stepfather was so much of a hippie ( as my mom phrased it) that at his funeral, they played "wild horses" (just because I believe that if I'm not mistaken, there's another song of the same name, it was the old one that went "wild horses couldn't drag me away")

Here, I think I should give a complete list of what all I listen to, in no specific order (but The Cure is my favorite):

The Cure (especially the "Disintegration" album)
Blink 182
Oasis
The Smashing Pumpkins
The Wallflowers
Nine Inch Nails
Rammstein
Weezer
The Pixies
Pearl Jam
The Psychedelic Furs
Siouxsie & The Banshees
Depeche Mode
Audioslave
Generation X/Billy Idol
Bloodhound Gang
Blue Oyster Cult
The Clash
Electric Light Orchestra
Faith No More
Flock of Seagulls
Judas Priest
Operatic
The Police
Rolling Stones
When in Rome

And a LOT more. This is only 1/10th of my music library, hahahah. I listen to everything from the 1950's to about 2005.

I must say, a lot of people here have good taste (especially those Cure fans ;))

Slenderman, I must say that ELO is one of my all time favorites! To me, no one does Roll Over Bethovan (spelling?) as good! And Judas Priest & Rammstien I like as well.
How about "Spin Doctors"?
