Hey folks. I do not want to leave the squad I am.after all a misfit. But I jump into a game I can see the one pilot coming in so he drops.his bomb and then camps on me I'm just trying to find some reason any reason to keep flying I mean s*** one good game a week isn't really any fun I'm almost always out numbered that I don't mind but when I'm outnumbered against five and three of them drop and then camp just what's the point to keep trying

I share your feelings. Usually i still stay in the game though and keep fighting to the end no matter how many times I get shot down. Sometimes I will spawn into a game and when I see seven reds coming at me i try to guess how many deaths I will endure before I clear the airport or lose the game. It's actually fun sometimes, I enjoy being outnumbered but i sure suffer a lot of deaths sometimes.

Wow...ive been out of the loop, my apologies and indeed this is a time of struggle for the Misfits. I want to say a few words, if I may.

I understand some of what ghost is going through and I'm thankful for the contact that hulk made. My dad passed in 1998 and sinc 1994, we became closer. When hr died, I was at work. It took me roughly 20 min to get to the hospital...i missed him by about 40 min and did not have an opportunity to say goodbye. My mother died in my arms in 2008. I arrived to her bedside hours after she went into a coma. Lately, there has been many struggles for many of us in the Misfits.

When I was recruited in the Misfits, I believe it was not because of my skill for my kdr truly reflected that, but rather that I got shot down and got back up fighting. I learned quickly that a Misfit never quits...i believe not just in the game, but also in life. Greg, I know you are struggling with much at home with the recent loss of your dad and with your health issues. The one important thing I have learned is that we should never make big decisions in the face of grief. It would be a big decision for me to ever leave this awesome, supportive family...how much of a bigger decision for the one who is credited with building such a foundation.

in short, I guess what I'm trying to say is, don't quit. Take a break? Yes...but don't leave. Many here, including you have really pressed those values. You have a very supportive family here as well. So, don't make such a decision yet. Take some time and devote it to your family. Holler if you need to talk!

Yesterday, we lost a member of the family, Greys dad passed. This is a tragic loss to the whole squad, his Dad meant a lot to grey. I honestly have never felt the loss of a close loved one so I do not know his pain, and I have a hard time truly feeling the pain of losing a parent. I do know, that even though His father is gone and we can't see him, he is still here, he's with us in spirit and is Greys newest Guardian Angel. Never regret the time u didn't have with him grey, but be grateful for the time God gave u with him. God was ready for him to come home and take away his earthly suffering.

Tell ya Davy I read your posts and sometimes it's like I'm reading my own thoughts and actions just like other Misfits in this here group, Do I belong He Double Tooth pick yea. I just want to say that when I heard about Grey Ghost having a mild heart attack my heart (no pun intended) sank in my stomach. This was all after GreyGhost sent me a wonderful PM that was very touching. I want to say that I was personal very happy for the PM before the medical incident because it seemed all was well and not totally like the "oldtime days" but better, if you get my drift. I played some wonderful games last week with GreyGhost when he asked me if I knew he had a mild heart attack. He heard I spoke with Pete about how I was concerned about him and he wanted to say to me that he appreciated it. I had to calm Grey down in game just a tad and I think he appreciated it (I think you all would appreciate it as well in light of what he went through).

Then I heard about his dad dying I was totally shocked. I knew from the Falcon days how Grey mentioned that his dad had some health issues and I had prayed with him about that long long ago. With his dad actually dying, I thought....wow thats alot to go through within a matter of 2-3 weeks.

long story short.

I want to personally say that Im praying VERY hard for GreyGhost. For no one should go through a medical condition and death in the family alone. I also pray for his family as well.

So, I know I wasn't the one who chased Ghost dude away last night as I was looking to end the night on quick mission and on a high note. Unfortunately, I jumped into server that contained a LOT of high ranking Misfits!! I don't recall everybody that was there (remember Ghost, T, Weatherman and Buckgeo - not a misfit - boo) as I was catching more bullets than names that game Even though I exited with a 5-15 KDR, I was not embarrassed or heartbroken, though I can not say the same for my plane Worst game ever lol

On a side note, I had to change my name since my son (9) wanted to play and I did not know how he would "represent" me since over a year go, he bombed one of his own hangars cuz he was bored - getting me banned for 5 mins. Yikes. Anyway, I heard him say 'monster' under his breath about something and I asked if it was Monster Cannon...he said yes. I told him to shoot him down before asking him what team he was on lol. Told him to let Monster know he was my son and he smiled when you responded positively. Thanks brother

Hello Grey, and again I truly sorry for the loss of your Dad. I wrote earlier this morning to you, when I saw you were going to leave. But for some odd reason it didn't show up or I've missed it lol. I have since seen Mr. Cannons response to you, and what he said, was almost exactly what I was speaking about. I'm a new member, ok not the big M yet a work in progress lol, but your are a founder, the Prez of the Club A Brotherhood. I understand that things can compound quickly, and you have been through alot in a very short time, and your on overload right now. I was just in game with a new recruit [m]slow fokker, he was great!! He got 18 kills in fist 5 min and only 3 deaths! Seek him out and give him some evals, he will pass with a breeze
