So we toss out ideas and we get what we all want? No, not going to happen. People want to argue. They fight with folks they'll never meet in person. Have you noticed the folks who HAVE met in person don't fight with one another? I have and that is the game, which I won't play.

I'd love to see that original game, but I'm guessing there are less than a dozen left. How to save it? Sell it to a group who has the IT manpower to design and not take every gripe seriously. Only one man can make that call--Zup.

Question---why is the forum still running? Either some money is being made from the noob server, it's bought to last in bulk months or it's ticking down to end.

I happened to agree with everything you said Dire except the friendships part. I have posted in numerous occasions asking for changes to the game, posted asking zuperman to let us vote, also posted directly to him trying to appeal to his drive when I found his early concept video of the game and Nothing happened… you are right; that is why I scratch what I wrote in the other thread. It was my last attempt to see if we could ask something as a community, but you hit it right in the nail. The DFE and the old DF community are gone and those few that lurk around like Cricket said …have also lost their interest; just like zuperman. Not taking shots at your comments; just realizing that you are right. On the friendships part I would have to say that some of you guys have had the blessing to meet each other in person and that is special. But for those who have not had that opportunity at least I can say I have made good friends here in this game from all over the world and if in my life time I am not able to meet them face to face at least I can say they were all great friends to me and are all very special. To me the most important thing in this game is to enjoy the friends you make here. The game? It is just that a fun game enjoy it while it last, some are on line for years even if they have low numbers of players.
And again was not taking shots at your comments just realizing you are all correct in what you wrote.
