Donald Trump has financial interests in many other countries...so many that it would be almost impossible to list all of his conflicts of interests when it comes to executive foreign policy. The "Trump" name and his family could not be converted to a blind trust. He would have more foreign interests than any previous American president.

www.google.com/amp/www.newsweek.com/2016...famp=1?client=safari

From the article:

"The dealings of the Trump Organization reach into so many countries that it is impossible to detail all the conflicts they present in a single issue of this magazine, but a Newsweek examination of the company has also found deep connections in China, Brazil, Bulgaria, Argentina, Canada, France, Germany and other countries."

Entertaining, but sickening that these two rose to the top. Trump made Alex Jones look sane an reasonable with his stroll down conspiracy lane. He really is terrifying. Gary Johnson!!

Why didn't any of these debates include the other candidates?

The Republicans and Democrats established the debate commission. They mutually set a standard that a candidate must poll nationally among 5 polls at 15% or greater in order to be invited to debate. They did this after Ross Perot's presidential run. In other words, the two parties have established a rigged system for their benefit. Nice and democratic...

I'm not always thrilled with the two party system. But, the "others" account for less than 10% of the polling combined. The sad harsh truth is they don't matter, and they know they don't. Ross Perot was included in the debates both times he ran because his numbers were high enough. Gary Johnson, and the other two don't have a chance, and they know it. They're wasting the American people's time. We may not like the choice we have, but it's the best we've got. Our system is far from perfect but I for one still think it's pretty damn great!!

I tuned in to the debate on my drive home last night... I was amazed that there was actually some policy talk! It's too bad we have to sift through so much crap before we get to hear any actual substance.

"Think about it, shout about it, when you've got to choose.... anyway you look at it you lose."

I thought last nights debate was pretty BS free. Chris Wallace was great. I watch him every Sunday, he's always fair. It was nice not to have such a liberal bias

Ghost, I completely disagree. Johnson might be polling at about 12%. However, 60% of voters disapprove of Trump and Hillary. The Dems and GOP hide behind the "rules" they wrote in order to prevent a potential dissenting vote. We will never know how effective or ineffective Johnson might have been in the debates. Despite being on the ballot in all 50 states, he was colluded against by the major parties simply for the sake of them maintaining control. It is decidedly unAmerican. They created the 15% polling rule 2000 to marginalize a candidate like Ross Perot. I am fine with excluding folks, but don't let the people with the most to lose make the rules.

No vote for Hillary,reason why?
Supporters of Hillary Clinton have the impossible task of defending her against countless numbers of high-profile scandals. No normal person would have been able to arrange for the investment in Whitewater properties located in the Ozark Mountains, nor get away with taking massive (and illegal) tax write-offs from the losses later assumed. It was a criminal enterprise, and their business partner, developer Jim McDougal, died while serving his sentence for his part in these Clinton-orchestrated crimes.

Ok since I have muted this thread when we just have a few days to election day, I will post this info that I saw on a TV show, just in case. So this guy call Nostradamus wrote something that strike me and we will know on election day if he was talking about one of the candidates. He said that WW3 will end buy an unexpected alliance between the 2 friends that meat to the north. That in documentary they said was US Alaska and Russia, and that these 2 men will make a deal to defeat the enemy. The od part was that he refers to the US leader as the red man. Documentary said it was probably referring to the north American Indians. But I don’t know…the Donald looks kind of red sometimes. Let’s see if the prophesy if referring to the deal maker Donald Trump or to the Indians reference.

I can’t vote! No not a problem with the forum program, it’s because of the status of the island. Yes, I am a US citizen, yes we give to social security and yes our young men and women have to go to war when the nation calls on them. But we can’t choose to vote on the views or politics that will affect or island and its US citizens. Why is this? Because we are a colony or territory of the US. But what does not make sense is that if you move to the island from the states u can’t vote here and if I take a plane and go to Florida there I can vote. Is my US citizenship worth less because of where I live? I can see! I can hear! And I can read all the arguments, proposals and policies the candidates have but I can’t SAY anything about them!! Because I can’t choose; because I can’t VOTE…

Yes, I live in Puerto Rico, but no I can’t vote to choose for the President of the United States. Maybe there is my answer, since we are not a state we can’t vote. But it is strange that my citizen status, is overlook just because of where I am standing. Just because of the territorial status of the island. So I am a US citizen but not with all my rights, but as soon as I step in any of the states I do have them. I believe If I am a US citizen I should be able to vote in the US elections no matter in what part of the planet I am standing. But those are the laws and politics so I will have to wait. Yes, here we do elect our governor, Mayors and other representatives; and the politicians here are as controversial and funny as the ones in other places in the world.
