In multiplayer, I can chat, but not play. it says there is a connection error every time PLEASE HELP!

when i usewifi which is filtered it lets you talk on world chat but not play in the server. that is a common thing you shouldn't worry about try a different wifi that usually solves the problem. [note public wifi or those found in educational institutions usually have games restricted]. i hope that helps

I suggest that the first thing you do when you think you're having a problem like you are describing is to close the app, then re-boot it and try another map other than the one you tried before.
If none of that makes a difference, turn off the device then repower it back on & reboot the app & try again.

Just my 2 cents..

Any day "not server connection".... reload & reboot not helps.....
