Lol...I used to think the same thing and yes it's not so easy to complete these missions at your stage.

Just for kicks I went into the practice sessions to see something. I was amazingly suprised how easy it was to take down the enemy planes.

Guess what I am trying to say is that you will get better in time. The more you play the better you will get.
