Which Amazon Kindle Fire is needed for elite?

Is there a particular one that will work best?

Dunno if it'll help, mcfate, but I run with a 7" HD 2015, and the digital home buttons and such get in the way, so unless someone finds a setting to fix it, 2015's probably aren't your best bet.

I've used the same Kindle fire HD for dogfight for more than 3 years now. It's been good to me but it is starting to get glitchy for several apications and needs a new battery. And now, it's too old for my favorite game.

Yep. Time for a new device.

I'm not sure the hdx would even work...it has a version of earlier android base. Its why I went with a galaxy tab.

My hdx runs good on df elite

I use a kindle hdx 3rd generation & it works on dog fight elite flying wise. Just I'm experiencing problems with not been able to purchase anything or name change problems

I'm now using a 3rd generation Kindle Fire HDX I got on sale brand new from Amazon for Dogfight.. but I haven't tried Elite with it yet. But it works great on regular Dogfight!

I'll probably go back to arrow keys eventually.. but I'm having fun learning long range sniping now.. who knows, I might actually become good at in time lol!

My hdx works fine not sure which gen. it is but I've had it 2 years now.

I think I'll just get the newest Kindle...
My wife got some deal to get a free tablet from our cell carrier. (No Amazon products offered) She opted for the latest iPad mini. It's a nice device but I prefer the kindle. The biggest difference for the game is that the iPad screen is proportionately taller than the kindle or android. (On Amazon/android the cockpit gauges are round,mom the iPad they are ovals. ) While flying, the vertical motion is choppy compared to the Kindle. I can understand now why some talk about how much more stable a plane is with bombs or lowered throttle.

After flying exclusively on the iPad for the last 2 weeks I've gotten used to flying fine, shooting still feels odd. I'm definitely going to be getting another kindle.

I have the same issues with Amazon. I've got to say that ITunes is much easier for payment. You can use any iPad to subscribe for account even if you play on a kindle.Or, you can offer a friend a iTunes card and have them do it for you.

I think you and i have the same version old kindle fire hd. I have used mine for dogfight elite and it semms to work fine. Not played there much cause whenever i go there nobody else is playing, and it looks like just a shined up version of the original.

Alas, my old Kindle is pushing up daisies. I'd been unable to subscribe through Amazon for several months. It was actually kind of nice for other purposes...like work and family, heck I'd even put more time into playing music...

Playing only random games is a very different perspective. It almost feels like sone sort of class division. Lol. It has been interesting to see the differences with iPad. I was going to try pc but I get motion sick when I'm not using tilt.
