Hi everyone,

I've used this game for a while now, with a joystick, no problems what so ever.
Now my joystick broke and I bought another one. (Thrustmaster Hotas X)

When I connect the joystick, every option in the menu flashes for one second and then it goes on to the next. Like there is something pushing the stick, making the options switch every second.

When I start a practice flight, my plane is uncontrollable and start flipping around.
I've tried to plug it into another port, reinstall the game, installed the latest drivers, etc. no luck.

I'm using Windows 8.1 and like I said, the previous joystick didn't have any problem.

Do you guys have any idea what the issue could be?

Thanks in advance!

It's probably a sensitivity problem with the actual joystick and not the game sometimes like for a keyboard for example the keys get stuck and it just keeps going and going so maybe it's like that

I have the exact model and have the same issues as you. I have tried everything I can think of to make it work without any luck.
I have upgraded to Windows 10 and will have to try it again. If I have any better luck with this problem I will post it and pm you.
I have talked to zuperman about it and he says it should work, but it doesn't.
What make and model was the old joystick that worked?
Good luck with your new Thrustmaster. Till then I will use my trusty tab.

Sorry for the late reply.

I calibrated the stick, no change :(

The previous joystick was a Thrustmaster T-flight X.
That one worked like it should, but the new Thrustmaster doesn't...

Really strange, I'm hoping that someone had the same experience but with a solution :cheer:

Thanks for the reply, was hoping you found the solution. I am sorry to say either have I. I had luck with a old Saitek Cyborg V-1 but being so small and light it was hard to use properly. I think if I screwed it down on a board it might work fairly well.
I think I will spend some time again and see if I can figure our new model out. I even went to their site to look for out of date drivers.
Will keep you posted via pm's.

Is there a joystick that works with an iMac desktop? I use an iPad Air, which is ok, but I can only play a little while befor my neck hurts. If I play too long I will get a head ache. It would be better to use the big screen, but need a joystick. I tried doing DF on Facebook using the keyboard, but it was really unusable. No real control. Any one have suggestions?

A "Thrustmaster" joystick?!

Umma gonna just sit over here, biting my tongue on that one. Kids are around, and all that.
