Primary season is in full swing! There are debates! There are meetings! Polls and numbers all over the news! I LOVE election season, especially the general election.

We have 4 primary elections out of the way and Super Tuesday is fast approaching. Early voting has started in Texas, and I did my duty yesterday afternoon.

Sitting in that voting booth and casting my ballot always inspires me. This year, it got me to thinking. We should have a mock election here on DF.

Here are the rules and asumptions:

1. I am assuming that DF is not only an "open state" but voters can cast two ballots. it has to be done this way, since I cant stop anyone from voting in both primaries on the forum


2. You do not have to post a comment if you don't want to. Lets keep it friendly though, and not get TOO heated.


3. ALL DF players are welcome to vote, not just Americans. We have quite a cross section of the world, this should be interesting.

4. Im assuming that most will want to vote for major candidates. I have left many official candidates off this poll, but if you need a name added just say so.

This poll ends July 25, as the convention starts, after which, I will lock the topic and we will have our nominee. After both conventions, I will post a new poll with our nominees and their vice presidential picks and any independent candidates that might surface between now and then. That voting will be shut down on November 8th

well, my humble opinion is

Right Wing or Left Wing = Same Bird

and that bird has flown the coop for best interests of the average honest, hard working, tax paying, law abiding American Citizen

so as a protest and so a vote is counted i chose to vote ANY Third party even tho it is like tossing it to the wind

however

2016 is shaping up to be pretty interesting...

not from the US myself the foolishness of many 'right wing' topics are indeed hard to believe they are defended at all. For americans Sanders may be seen as very left wing, here in Europe he would be called a social democrat, a man of the middle. The average conservative in the US would be called an ultra right wing politician here. Dont want to insult anyone here, but it may be something to make one think.

I have reset the vote on this poll due to a 9-9 tie between Clinton and sanders. The next vote wins the nomination in the dogfight primary. General election poll will go up soon
