thats a long way to go!

Hi all been time since I have flown. Like six months . I am flying again though I don't know for how long so not asking to be added back into the squadron. I'll always be a Lafayette though . Thought I would stop and say hi though. Life has been good. I see the squad has had some good new members join, so hi to all the people that don't remember me. Also I see the long timers are just getting better and better. Those are some killer stats guys, goodness.

Well you are welcome back jake! We just did a little house cleaning awhile back and deleted all pilots that hadn't flown in over 6 months to make room for some new life in the squadron.. just put in your join request and of course you'll be accepted back!

Hello Pred, I noticed that u seem to get good stats and how's that? Is it because u're using IPhone or pc? Some advices would be an ideal, thanks for ur time. I'm using pc. Talon127

All Lafayette pilots here on the forum should remove the £ or any other strange letters from their name because they are what causes people to be unable to PM you or ever respond to a PM from you. Just use your in-game name minus the squadron designation and any unusual letters or symbols, because when you use those the forum automatically places a  letter in front of it in the address box when you go to write or respond to someone. If they don't know to remove that  then the PM won't send.(and in some names using many symbols & letters there will be a bunch of  's!)

Today I was playing in a ctf.
I spawn in and immediately a 0 guy takes our flag with 3 morafs circling not too far away.
Me and beary (whitetrashbear) killed all of em and went to pursue the flag guy, well beary got shot down and I was the only one left.
I'm at 1\2 field and somehow twirl my way ALL the way to their base where i get shot down.
I obliterate the flag guy from my tank and see the allied flag on the runway.
With 1\2 life already shot out of the tank, I go full blast to the flag that's just sitting on the runway waiting, no BEGGING to be returned!
So guess what?


You know THAT^ just makes me plain mad zup. Such a good game, but to be halted from achieving my goal and saving my team, that's just brutal. Torture for me.
So that's my day £'s, How was yours? Lol =)

Just so you all are aware... Lafayette has no problem with and actually ENCOURAGES using TACTICS to play this game!

This means we are more than okay with you sneaking, camping, dropping when necessary, and pretty much everything EXCEPT FOR spawnkilling or tank spawnkilling or blocking runways with your plane or tank or using glitches.

SPAWNKILLING is when (other than when inbound with a bomb) you shoot someone on their runway before they either start shooting or turn or drop their bombs. In other words: give them a chance to get into the air to defend themselves THEN KILL THEM!

You don't have to let them get on your six, or do the hokey-pokey before you kill them, but just them getting their 'wheels up' isn't good enough. They can't turn or do anything to defend themselves or evade so give 'em another moment or three.

Bottom Line is we here at Lafayette fly to a higher standard than most anyone... BUT, we use 'tactics' to help us Win! There's no reason not to! But if you have to ask yourself if what you are about to do is right or wrong? Well then you already got your answer.. obviously if you're questioning yourself about whatever action you're contemplating doing then it's most likely wrong lol!

Remember most of all that this is just a game and supposed to be FUN! If you're not having FUN you are doing it wrong!

You've corrected me a few times zeb, and I think I'm doing quite better. I now let the red up and turn before I shoot. I'm sure this mistake is easy to make and can be corrected easily with some dedication and hard work. Still shoot them but at least give them a chance first, THEY NEED IT!

Yeah Jerry that's Wilbur Wright a.k.a. Erich / Hogstetter / etc. A not so nice 'friend' of his changed his name as well as got on World Chat saying some not so flattering things.. it was only briefly though, and it was obviously not him.

Also, that certainly seems to be a huge amount of deaths for you Pie for a dogfight! I'm guessing all your kills past 14 were tanks & chutes? or was there a glitch?

Hehe I just followed Enoxx around and picked up his scraps Lol, even shot him 3 times just so someone could kill him and get me a chute kill.
