I've seen that before I liked it. Goes to show it's harder to shoot one down then expected. Also amazing that it took a quarter million cows to make one!

the zeppelin is over 600 feet long, and it took a 1/4 million animals intestine to make the hydrogen bags , to build just one and there were 13 of them to date they still are the largest thing to ever fly and zeppelin it the last name of the man who design it in the beginning of the 1900 a regular bullet would not shoot it down so a incendiary bullet was design to set the hydrogen bags on fire

The incendiary bullets also didn't work, since they made small holes, there wasn't enough air in the hydrogen to cause it to ignite.

Then they started mixing exploding and incendiary rounds. After that they had some luck, but it still took concentrated fire to rip the bladders open, mix enough oxygen in and then ignite the mix.

The little observations balloons were easier (but still one of the most difficult tasks for a pilot due the the amount of defenses places around them)
