I love the idea of vets being recognized. I'm a vet myself, but like others I am in a squad already [e] and can't be in two at the same time. I wish you and your squad luck. Maybe we can get a designation for vets in our names. Something similar to the squad id's. maybe a [V] after the name. For example my handle is -J- and I'm a vet and an enigma member so I would display my name as [e]-J-[V]. Maybe someone else has better idea for a vet designation.

Above I was trying to post on coolhandluke's thread. He started the tiger sharks squad for vets and their families.

How about [OK] for anyone who took the oath to preserve protect and defend the constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic?

If you take the oath, its for life...doesn't end on discharge.

I like that idea J, need to put that idea to zuperman and let him fine tune the details.

Both are a good idea, pappy and j. But i think that people are going to thinks it might stand for something else. While a v =veterans only

I'm gonna start a thread to solicit ideas from the vets. It would be nice to get every ones input and then decide. Hopefully we will all do the same thing so it is clear to all what it means

If u start doing it, then people will ask whT its for and say its vets awareness and others vets will start to adopt
