Ditch the iPhone. I hated the tiny thing. Too small. That's what I started on. You will be murdered at a distance. Invest in a tablet if you can. Ipad or ipad mini would be my suggestion.

I second that !

I played first year on iPhone 4S, then I got an iPad 2....,huge difference. I have not played on a computer so I cant offer an opinion there.

If you build it, I will come.......and bomb it !!!

larger screen is better, I use a Samsung tablet and it's great fun. it makes distance shooting easier, although I find I turn better on my phone. I am getting a HDMI adapter for my phone next week, so then I'll let you know how that works on a large TV

I haven't tried a PC, as I don't have Win8, and can't see my getting it for a few years.

It doesn't work. Save your money. I already tried the HDMI. Lag is to great between pad a T.V. It is like flying around in the outside camera view.

get it now :woohoo:

u can dual boot it with ur mac :woohoo:

u'll fall in love with it :woohoo:
[ im not saying that u'll forget ur wife :silly: ]

but its too good :woohoo:

Edit : windows 8.1 is better than 8. U can always updrade it to 8.1 from 8 for free, but take more time.

If u already have a genuine windows 7 professional, then u can updrade it to windows 8 / 8.1 for 23 $ or something like that :woohoo:

Yes with the right connections you can hook your iPad up to your 54' flat screen TV and become the killer you always wanted to be... I'm just saying.. ... I don't do it but I hear you can.... Really.
I could care....But I dont

Google Nexus 7 all the way! As an Android device it's been immune to all the bugs and issues everyone has been plagued with on Apple devices and Windows, as well as Samsung products running Android but still crashing. Its a large screen, but the device itself isn't too big to play with. You can adjust your screen brightness, check your WiFi signal strength, and have access to settings while in flight without losing connection.
I often hear complaints from noobs that I've shot them down before they could even see me because the screen is large and planes don't look like dots. The battery has excellent longevity and if you get down to even 5% battery life the charger can hold it there while you keep playing. The Nexus 7 also has 2GB memory so you can run graphics at full and it doesn't break a sweat.

I can't recommend it enough. "Accept no substitutions! Call now...YES, NOW!"
Trust your ol' buddy Pork on this one ;)
