Hey zup.

I know I've nagged and complained about this feature before, but could u please consider adding arid dear control system? There r so many maneuvers u cant do without a rudder and if we had rudders we could really c who the best of the best is because the rudder would add so many options in a fight and bombing.
I even have a good idea of where the control can go so it doesn't mess with the scrolling around the plane and/or the view for the pilot.
Please consider this :)

Dear KESTREL, maybe you don't know this but the rudder is controlled by the feet.

Now I don't know about you but I'm to old and my flexibility will not allow me put my feet on the IPAD and then try to bend over and play.

Plus the iPad is not big enough for both feet and my thumbs to. It would be like playing a gamed called TWISTER.

THIS IMPROVEMENT WOULD KILL ME. THANK YOU.

Hahahahahahaha

Naa it would work great. Just have a slider button on the lower corner above the fire bullets button and u can slide it side to side so u have yaw control over ur plane. All u will need to do is use ur finger to slide the rudder button and active the rudder lol.

I would like to see it. I was thinking about it the other day.

A self centering rudder control. Bottom left of screen. Knob just like the throttle, centered in middle, always goes back to the center after you take your thumb off. Set to the charastics of each plane. More for some, less for others. If it self centered you wouldn't have to use it if you didn't want to. Also would not have to watch and adjust all the time.

The problem with the performance of the planes here is they are all the same. A rudder would add a totally new dimension to dogfights.

I would also like to see the planes differ slightly in the X and Y axis. In other words make the Se5 better in a climb, albatross better in a turn and so on. That way a pilot would always be jockeying for his better position. Trying to force the other guy in to your fight and not his.

It would take some relearning but make the competition fantastic.

I'm hoping for some rudder control in a future update. Would be nice to get a little yaw out of my plane, but a slider? I think slight movement of your device would work a bit better.

Funny story: Years back, my grandpa invited me out to go flying with him. It was my first time in the cockpit of a plane and the feet controls were so foreign to me. He let me taxi and let's just say the plane ended up in the grass. I'm sure the guys in the ATC tower had some fun with that one.

The reason I think slider and not tilt is it would affect head on shots too much in a tilt. You would have to hold the pad supreamly still in a head on so the rudder didn't slide sideways. Some folks wouldn't like the rudder so you could self center it and not use it with out ever touching it. Also you could use it opposite of the turn you were in. Bank right with left rudder or vice versa.

Who ever mastered the rudder would be king of dogfight.

I agree. The rudder opens up so much potential.
I use rudder in all my flying games, even if the game doesn't really need it. It helps with aim and maneuverability. I've watched rise of flight on utube so much and thought about what they r doing and half their moves would be impossible without rudder. I just think it will add abit of an edge to the game and like u said, the ones that master it will be dogfights top aces.

I also think an optional feature to be able to turn rudder off in settings might help for those that dont want a rudder.

The triplain would be able to fly sideways with a rudder

Even if we don't get a rudder the difrent plains should have the model specific performance. That would make the turn fights more interesting. Today you are a sitting duck in a slow plain while you shouldn't. You should be able to turn inside of the faster plains, out manuver them and shoot them down.

Very true. The Dr1 was an air superiority fighter back in its day, was feared for its supreme maneuverability and rate of climb.
