Delete, reinstall. It'll take you back 2 versions. Wait for the fix and continue to play. There are still some issues but not quite as bad.

I don't use a pc to download, maybe that's the difference. I was able to tap and hold the DF icon til it shimmies, then hit the little "x" to delete it. I then downloaded over the wifi to reinstall it from the App Store. If you're on an older pad, you may not be able to do over the air downloads. I don't really know. This iPad has never been connected to a computer.

I don't know how your pad uninstalls apps, but mine is the same as Parrots. Just hold the app icon until it giggles, then hit the x to delete. Go to the cloud and reinstall the app.

The App Store is going to tell you its the .37 update, It's not. It will down load .35 for some reason and the .37 update will still be in the store. Weird, but that's what PH and I both did, with the same results.

stuart did you try 4.4.40? it should fix all your ipad problems

Hey Zup my problems started after the update. It's now fuzzy and the radar is no use I can't see in coming targets till I'm taking hits and it will freeze up at times leaving me open to get shot up. This is the 4.4.40 update on new iPads

I'm getting the same problem as Dr Dave, along with a fuzzy gun sight and the suddenly being all alone with no warning.
I've got the latest update and I've uninstalled reinstalled a dozen times. Made no difference.
Maybe Apple don't like DogFight.

Bless you, bless you, bless you all!!! I was about ready to totally give up the game given my difficulties hitting/killing reds....head on or in a furball. Now I start to think maybe its not my aging eyeballs...or maybe its just that I've learned to suck worse than ever...but I hold out hope that its all Z's fault.

It seems like the other problems I'm having with my iPad take awhile to hit. Some games will be fine. The longer I play the more of them I get and more often.



The sterio screen is the most common.

Would it make a difference being U.S. devices? All of the guys having it seem to be in the states.

Glad someone else saw this. I wasn't having too many problems until today, now I can't hit a thing, especially in chute at point blank range. Reds also disappear just as I'm about to fire & immediately afterwards the target shoots me down. Very frustrated today.

Controls are aggravating too. Plane drifts by itself, yet won't do it when I give a slight bank into someone. I have to bank harder, then it yaws way past him. By the time I get the nose close, I'm dead.

Yes I had forgotten the split screen tanks I don't tank most times now because you never know then you have to leave game to fix

Just add about 40 years of wear and tear on your eyes and you may uncover the problem...LOL.
