I think the idea of point deduction for poor sportsmanship is a great idea. Another idea is a "Vote Out" option. As I imagine it working there would be a REPORT option both in game and in the world chat. If a player is "reported" by multiple players either during a certain time period, or during a single game, that player is auto kicked, muted, or banned. How the parameters are set up would of course be at Z's discretion, however the idea I'm trying to convey is that the other members present can effect some immediate action. You could even add this to the players stats so that problem children can be more easily identified. It's one thing for an auto ban to get you for team killing or even for a mod to take the time to look you up and ban you...it's another for the group you are pissing off to be able to take action.

Not being a super programmer I can only imagine how much work this would take, but I think it would be good for the game. Imagine how you would feel if you were banned for a day or two by your peers? A bit more powerful message than by an auto ban or even moderation.

Not bad J! I would only worry about the abuse. Say I'm in there kicking tale. The only thing that would have to happen for the other team to get rid of me and stop the virtual arse whooping would be for them to "report" me. I have no doubts this would happen. It needs some sort of oversight or it will be abused.

That's a valid concern. It would all be in the parameters set up. Maybe require votes from both red/blue teams, maybe require a percentage of players? Definitely would need to have multiple players "vote" the action.

What about the language barrier we run in to? may be an on screen box that pops up if the vote suggestion is made. With the suggestion in the players own language.

Another brilliant ideal, almost so good it's a wonder i didn't think about it first.

But...but....but I'm nice! I take a shower every day. Have you smelled some of those guys like Skunkoil and Davy? That Dent guy he is just bad. He comes in like he owns the place. Says EEEEHAW is Paul here? Then when he is sure it's safe he goes straight for that tree on the mountain and...well. Then he flies straight up to 4,000 . Something about a camera and Davy's house? Did you know he has a camera that can see right through aluminum foil? Which brings me to the point. Don't people with Dents in their head seem alien to you?

I'm sure we all know this, but not everyone is fair. I've gotten in some games, doing well, and apparently i do well enough to be called a hacker... By more than one person. I imagine that if this was available to them, I would be kicked from the game without reason. Just being devils advocate here...

Like the idea though, just needs a little work
