I was wondering if we, players could run a server.
What do we need to setup? What are the needed hardware specs? In other words, what is all needed to put a server running?
Just out of curiosity, but if feasible (and not too expensive), we could pay, for example, for a server running in Brazil, or Mexico, or Australia, etc.

I've had the same thought before Ped. Would be interesting. Also if we could have squad servers for practice sessions (funded by the squad of course).

Just for practice ?

Anyone who has a good computer and a windows server os
can setup a server.

Hardware specs: ( good practice server )

4 gb ram,
500 gb hard disk space,
4 ghz quadcore processor,
and a high speed unlimited internet ( 2 mbps is good ! ).

I have it all except the server os and a high speed internet.
