How does it work when you want to email someone you fly with in a game. I noticed my "game name" mxmike does not show up on the pull down list of form users however, I am a forum user. Is the game name always
the same as the forum name or is it different?

No your forum name is what you make and it stay. You can't change it. Your ingame name can be changed though. Usually, if I want to PM somebody I can hit the little speech bubble under their profile on one of their posts.

So you have to catch one of their posts to initiate a PM? Is there a way to convert someone's ingame name to their forum name?

No not really a way to convert. As a matter of fact, a lot of players have names that are completely different. You should be able to search, but I don't think you can look your own up.

The Search tab can help a lot. Make sure you get the exact spelling of the player in-game, and Search for someone posting about him on the forum. You might find the player himself. It just takes a little research. Some do post their game name on their profile. In fact, I think I will go do exactly that.

My the way, your forum name is searchable:
- Private Messages
- Compose
- Show users (right side)
- Userlist
- Type mxm quickly, and it scrolls down to mxmike
