Ive bin playing this fabolus game for quite some time now.
I have seen threads about crashes on Samsung and people complaining about
phones quiting to homescreen.
All this time I played on a Samsung and never saw any crashes, freezes or quiting to homescreen, BUT I was playing on an S2 not S3 or S4.
I think it's very strange that there still isn't a fix for this.
It's so frustrating especially with thees loopside games when your phone quits and you leav some por player 1-6.
I who have fallen in love with this game am thinking of stop playing bc of this, and that makes one think of how new players will react on it.
Do they stop playing still on the trail version?
Will they give the game a chanse anyway?
Will they say Dogfight is crap DON'T BY IT?

I think it's about tim to fix the samsung problems once and for all NOW.
This has bin going on to long.
Make the game work on the devices that has bin used to play this for a year or so befor you put your soul into making it work on windows.
I understand it's no quickie, but come on, one year...

Bell,

I was about to sell my S2 to a friend to buy a S4 some days ago, just to play DF on a bigger screen, with higher resolution. No other reason exists right now to make me spend money to change my phone - the S2 delivers all I need - the upgrade would take place only for Dogfighting... absurd, huh? I agree.
I was nearly doing that, but I changed my mind after reading your first complains, some days ago. Now that I see your frustration, I see I made the right decision. And as if that were not enough, I decided to spend a little less money, buying Windows 8 - a cheaper option for a big-screen experience.

Hope Zup's team find a workaround for you, friend. Good luck!

I'm glad that I could save you some money and frustration.
It was of the exact same reason you mention that I bought my s4.
The resolution is fantastic and the grafic is smooth, but the ingame chat isn't working as god and tven there is that "little" problem with quiting time and time again. The games when it's not quiting is eacylie conunted.
I still have my S2 so when the frustation gets the best of me I can change phone.

Hi Bellsaj, my friend. First of all, thank you for this post. I am planning to buy a new phone, precisely for the same motives that you and Pedrinho indicated. Against new devices, that other players are using, my old cellphone is not helping me to do a decent performance in this game: a bigger screen is better when you are trying to see that little dot that is your enemy, but in my case, before even fixing my aim to the red name in front of me, I am going down, already. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tablet and I have tried to play using that, but I am used to my cellphone, and I think this is better when you have to do quick movements, something more difficult to do with a tablet, and I don't like the joystick.
I am gonna wait, because it was a Samsung 3 or 4 the cellphone I was planning to buy. If you or someone could recommend a good alternative for the Samsung, I will be thankful.

Greetings to all the fellas of Dogfight.

I do have to say... when it's not quitting, the Galaxy S4 is a spectacular phone, and the game runs very smoothly on it. Whereas on the S3, I felt like I had the choice on two pixel positions on head-on shots (one too high and one too low), on the S4 I've got a more analog-like control. And the game seems to run really fast -- but hard to tell what slows down, whether it's data speed or processor, but overall the S4 is a nicer experience than the S3.

Fella,

Manfred's words say all about S3 or S4: if you are going to buy one of these two phones, go for S4. It is the most awesome piece of hardware I ever faced in my life.

But, in other hand, I suggest you to wait for "Motorola X" reviews. It has a Snapdragon 800 processor, with an amazing GPU. I believe it is being launched these days, if not already launched. But I repeat: read the reviews beforehand. If in doubt, go S4, despite its DF problem. No reason to buy a S3 these days.

I looked at Htc one but Htc and iPhone can't change battery. On the S4 you can put in a twice as big battery so you get more flight time per charge.
Really love the S4 and after talking with Zup ingame my hopes for a fix is high.
Just knowing he is working on it makes me happy.

And I'm really sorry Max and Nouch for jumping back and forth in that game.
What was it 7-8 times it quit and changed sides every time. :pinch:

Hmmm....
It might be wise if we had our own reviews of the device and where we r in the world cos some devices may differ from where u get them as well as the net-work coverage. Lets try to help others get better info. A better game play means a happier day :)

If we make it like a squad we can do sub categories one for every make and model.
It would be eacy to find and compare.
And if someone maked it sticky it would be even better.
"The Dogfight device revieu thread" or something like that.
would be greate to know how diferent devises workes cause clearly
Not every device workes well with DF.
