So im trying to play with some friends. The "game rooms" and trying to connect with eachother are terrible for this purpose. We created a Squadron and have both joined it, however this didnt seem to fix the problem, as we spend about an hour trying to get into the same game. is there an easier way to do this?

Unfortunately no. You just have to get lucky and get in the same game. Welcome to the forum. Do some searches here. There are great tips for playing the game.

On the up side, you have plenty of opportunity to make some more friends
