Is it considered poor sportsmanship to go high in a DEA and dive bomb?

Not at all b we can use the whole map high low left or right. It splits people up. Going down the middle gets boring it makes the other team to account for you. They dive bombed in ww2. By thhe way, why you change your ingame name no fun any more not seeing you playing anymore.
someones stolen my truck!!! they left a note.fight and we will give you your truck back.so here i am ready to fight!!!one problem they never said how long.

Nah, that's just talk. People get kicked from a game by a mod because they are swearing up a storm, teamkilling, blocking runways with a parked plane or tank... basically things that are blatantly disruptive to the game and other players. Taking a hike up Duck Mountain or free flying isn't a problem, although the pilot might consider that he/she is taking up a slot in the game that could otherwise be benefiting a team's efforts. That's why long hikes or bridge fun is better done during Dogfight Free For All games, but it's not a big deal either way.

I read the occasional blurb that the mods are getting all Big and Bad and booting people for lookin' at them wrong. I'm sure we'd get a screenshot of the You've Been Kicked message if such a thing happened. For now, I chalk it up to "I heard that so-and-so" gets passed on and on, similar to "...was supposedly booted for it" might get repeated in another post with slightly more implied validity.

To the original question.....HECKS NOOO! Lol. If my teammates can defend my base well enough, I may go high, or far too the side and bomb. Why would there be any problem with that? I know I know, I also use to hate being in a heated dogfight and look over to see someone just bombed from going high. Now I get a lil giggle from it, thinking of how it's probably karma lolol. Anyways, hang in there, and just take it out on some reds :)

If thats the way to exterminate, it'll take too freaken looonng

I agree with everyone else that has posted so far. It is completely permissible, but I add cowardly! I'm really just kidding about that. I do a little miffed when a successful bombing is made that way, as I have not significantly matured in my gameplay, as 420 has. However, that's more due to the fact that I fell prey to it and did not note the absence of the one who bombed and the fact that I just have had very little success in it.

Now if a teammate of mine does it and we, as team, are loosing hangars left and right, I would rather the spend their time " in the fight". As to my cowardly comment, I have been guilty of accusing others of a "chicken move" when I am grossly outnumbered(7-1 or 6-2, for example). But I really can't fault them just because I always go up the middle.
Fuck this place. Second rate hack playing in a yard that's too big for him.

The only other point of consideration is this would all be true if the server made fair teams and most of the pilots are skilled. Go into a 7 vs 1 and there is no way to defend. Really this is just a by-product of the server issue so without that I say for sure.

There are many challenges on the way to successfully bomb a hangar. Height, speed, # of enemies engaged in a current dogfight (ie: possibly distracted) distance, direction, aircraft type and pilot skill (yours and the enemies). And of course Bravado! Try evading three enemies while dive bombing and they spot you on the way down... Yikes it's difficult to keep me from being blown up on the way down. My goal is to take out 3 hangars at once, then evade and engage enemy fighters near their base. Not easy but you have to be creative to be successful. Nes pas?

At the beginning, when there was few players, it would be a waste of time to force the players to wait online until reaching 8 players to make a new 4 vs 4 session... But now, with so many players around, it would be nice if some sort of mission-browser was available, and no time would be wasted. If not a mission-browser, at least some smarter algorithm to force the first player to login as an allied; the second one, to login as a nazi; the third, as an allied; the fourth, as a nazi, and so on.

"Again, here come Pedrinho sniffing his nose on the developers work"... I don't want another struggle with Z, but hey, software development is part made by users opinions and suggestions, huh? And it doesn't make any sense to play 7 vs 1! Although there will be many players saying something about how fun it is to play outnumbered, the fact is that this issue IS AN ISSUE, and it can (and need to) be solved.

Yesterday I played a destroy the zep mission against seven reds (as a matter of fact, I turned on a "destroy the zep mission hunter" lol). I managed to destroy both engines, but not without being shot down several (SEVERAL, i mean!) times while trying to do it. When I begun shooting the body of that cigar, the zep was already too near from my base, and I only managed to low down some little part of its "health". During this crazyness, I didn't shoot any reds, of course - otherwise, I wouldn't have destroyed any engine - but it was frustrating anyway...

I took the RED PILL!
