The walker was one of the most anticipated updates, and for good reason. It's pretty damn cool.
There's a few issues that I *hope* can be fixed soon and easily, without Apple being to hindering.
1: The obvious one. You can't see the damned things when they're on your carrier, which doesn't sound to bad until a jerk gets shot down over your carrier, and spawnkills you a dozen times.
2: Planes crash when they hit them. I'm talking on the ground, plane is on the ground, and runs into the walker. The plane loses. The walker should look like a tomato in a blender, and the plane should NOT look like... well, a burning plane.
3: There's no way to adjust sensitivity. I'd like a way to turn it down so I can learn to shoot less awfully.
4: They fall through the carrier. Joaquin, you may be aware of this, but I'll be happy to show you sometime if you're not, and I'll post screenshots tomorrow when I get the iPad.
5: I managed to get stuck on the carrier, and EVERYONE has gotten stuck on a roof at some point. Screenshots tomorrow also.
6: They can't jump unless your phone has a physical keyboard, and most phones with physical keyboards play Dogfight slightly less effectively than a deceased camel. There should be a jump button, or make a volume button work as jump, or... something. Maybe both volume buttons at once?
7: Parachute soldiers: See #2. True, the plane's propeller would get screwed up with the parachute strings and intestines, but there's no way that the soldier would survive that, due to the fact that, as mentioned previously, his intestines are busy messing up my plane.
8: This is for tanks: They fly. If you've ever been shot down over a carrier, you know what I'm talking about. You kill a few guys with your plane, die, kill a few guys from your 'chute, take a walker so you can kill the carrier from your tank, and the tank FLOATS AWAY. Now, the tank doesn't actually move, but it SHOULD. It needs to move with the carrier. Once the tank appears, it needs to become a part of the carrier. Just a graphic, not an interactive object, at least until the soldier walks into it. Then it becomes a tank, not just an addition to the carrier, and then it needs to treat the carrier as solid ground. Otherwise, your tank seems to float backwards at the speed of the carrier, and eventually back into the air, where you can't get at it for like ten more minutes. (By the way, I'm curious, is there anyone who's marked the path and speed of the carriers? They seem to vary in speed.)
Thanks for your consideration.
