Thanks yyyy ruined an excellent dogfight! Did I say dogfight. O yea can we do that anymore?
When I parachute from being spawnmurdered and pick soldier to try and defend I'm already off the carrier!
Meanwhile in the air a even matched fun what I come here for dogfight is going on. If I wanted a shooter game there are a ton out there. But I don't there is this and rise of glory. This was way better.

Kevy learn how to get off carrier without getting shot. Kinda like when aomeone is pawn killing with a plane.

It's not like a tank. I'm shot before I throttle up. Bullet holes the instant I spawn blown up before I move. There is no taking off.

Lol, sorry, i just posted about this before i saw this thread! Yeah, hoagie did the same thing last night, but stopped once we asked him to. Lol, he told us after we got mad at the "server glitch" for shooting us when we were on the carrier. He did stop, and we all took it as a joke, but, of course, many people arent that nice and would continue. What u do is just hop into the air and land, repair, then take off. Worked for me. :)

What I'm trying to say is that I'm dead before I get any rpms to move. And if I pull the chute and turn into soldier I'm off the carrier before I can get control of soldier so I'm basically defenseless unless someone saves me! The falling off the carrier part could be fixed by having planes spawn farther on the carrier giving you time to start running. I still prefer to fly though and leave the soldier to those who like to walk. So the answer for me is gonna be quit and find another game. This was a seesaw long game that was awsome until the soldier showed up and ruined it.

In short under those conditions you can't save your self as a plane. The best you can do is watch your carrier sail away and walk around as the dogfight goes on without you.

Maybe the only solution is what I think Calvin once suggested: That planes should respawn at random places on the runway / flightdeck.

When planes appear every time in the same, totally predictable places, it just invites tanks and walking soldiers to take advantage of it.

Kev, remember my trick with spawnkilling in tanks? Wait for someone else to spawn, while theyre dying, get off. Quickly. Rev ur engine beforehand by putting on the brakes and putting the engine on full power. Havent tryed it with soldiers, but u might be able to get off with only a bullet hole or two. :)

Yeah, veidar, the random spawnpoints would be awesome. The more random, the better. Ther could be one on a mountain, etc.

And if they were on mountain, how wouod u protect ur carrier after dying. Not a good idea. And I think veider meant is that random places on carrier/base.

Thanks Calvin I know a lot of tricks but they all involve getting enough power to move! I'm working on a transporter but there wasn't any dilithium crystals available in 1918! Lol JK!

Yea, I was the only one respawning at the time. Everone else were nearing enemy carrier. No help either way!

as spawnkilling is legal, then there is no problem with the soldier on the carrier..in fact there is a problem, namely, ther man on the carrier is invisible, which means if there is a guy n the carrier then you have nothing to do.. this should be fixed i believe..
