Nobody asked me, but... :-) The dark blue background makes the letters hard to read on my Samsung Gal S2. I guess that might be true for other android devices too. Why not try dark red letters?

Yes we asked for everyones opinion! You should have seen my pixelated first version. Red letters sound good ! Qazfdsa worked late to get this one. I'm waiting now for his latest and greatest. I hope Skydavis wakes up and weighs in! I was thinking a plane in background or skyscape? Don't want it to cluttered though?

Keep it simple -- and keep it readible. I'd say having 2-3 objects in a banner this size would be fine. But any more would be cluttered. And by "objects" I mean any text, images, etc.
