Ok I made this thread just out of curiosity ...what determines the gain/loss of experience...sometimes I shoot a plane down and it will give me more/less then other times ....also when I crash or get shot down sometimes I loose XP and sometimes I don't loose any ....I will say the fastest way I found to gain XP is destroying the zeppelin ...after the engines are gone every bullet that hits the Zeppelin gives you a bit of XP ....very nice ....thanks for reading and would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this

You get more based on how high the rank is of the other player.

e.g You'll get way more shooting a I General than an Aspirant.

And yes, Zeps are fantastic at XP.

When shoot down parishute and live in parishute to get points if you don't you lose them. Nevere crash or kill your self with bomb you lose your points.

So it's perhaps not always such a good idea to shy away from generals and go hunting for easy targets. Some aspirants are not so easy to get at either. :-)

I dunno, I always go for the higher ranks. Not for more XP (which I see as a bonus), but to improve my skill as a player and learn from their tactical maneuvers.

I go for the higher ranks because one they usually have much more skill but I'm having difficulties not with straight on but when it comes to dogfighting and looping around with a very skilled player my arms get tired as I tend to about throw myself let and right I actually jerked my charger straight out of the wall a few times lol

The only way to get better is to fly against skilled pilots. I always target the higher rank pilots first. There has been plenty of times I've let lower rank pilots go till they start to shoot at me. Then its game on.
