Well I started in 2009 but quit after a week now I'm back and playing so if you consider that old I'm hear and still playing.

Heh, as Hamers said -- yes. I mean't by length. I got on here to see how everyone was -- but I barely recognize anyone.

Ah yes, I've been traveling out and about. The reason I don't play much is:

A. It's the same gameplay.
B. I've found both two separate games, one is an insanely realistic WWI dogfighting game with incredible multiplayer (The details and graphics are incredible) and an online tank fighting game with the same realism (and 24 person multiplayer!).
C. I hardly have time to play any games.

I might jump back in, after all -- I did pay the life time subscription.

I've picked up many more stories in my travels. Ah! And I think I have the perfect one now. I'll go post it, stay tuned.

battlefield 1918 is a pretty awesome ww1 game ou can fly airplanes,zeppelins, flight baloons.you can conroll tanks ,artillerie,and a WHOLE lot more.on the sea you can controll ww1 ships and operate submarines with a artillerie canon on it!its all accurate too

Yes, I still love to play. It comes in phases depending on work and family schedules, but I still find time to get a quick kill or two when waiting to pick up the kids or waiting on an appointment. Thanks to Z for all the hard work ans effort gone into making this game fun!

The ultra-realistic plane game is called "Sky Gamblers: Rise of Glory" (itunes.apple.com/us/app/sky-gamblers-ris...ory/id441639109?mt=8). It's $4.99, but so is Dogfight if you ended up purchasing the lifetime subscription. It's insane. The controls are fantastic. You can "look around" in the cockpit which is super fun and use full when fighting, the cockpit features full 3-D models, the graphics are very photogenic, the gameplay is both strong in Single and Multiplayer, etc. I love it.

The tank game is called Battlezone: Eastern Front or Tank Fury 3D: Eastern Front (itunes.apple.com/us/app/tank-fury-3d-eas...ont/id400106083?mt=8) which features great graphics, strong and FUN multiplayer support and more awesome features. It's easily the best tank fighting game.


Hy Flyer! I'm glad to see another BF1942 fan and modder! I used to be an avid BF1942 player for a good 5-6 years. I wish I had my copy of it....however I still have my CD key.

Wake Island was INCREDIBLE. Gah, I was a beast when it came to submarine combat. I also LOVED flying in The Battle of Britian. I used to be the head Ace in a stunt clan. I could do all sorts of insane flying tricks. Lemme go find an old clan stunt video.

I loved the 1918 mod for the trench warfare. THAT was some fun stuff right there.

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, this video brought me back. I miss playing on Robin's Server.



I was extremely good at doing the "Loopty Eject" trick you see at the beginning of the video. Used to pull that on people on The Battle of Britain map. Once, I did that and the person who was on my 6'o'clock continued shooting at the plane I jumped out of. As I flew down to jump back in, I pitched a grenade and BOOM! The guy flew into it and I killed him. Flew away like a badass.

I'm thinking about downloading this game now. It's not pirating, as I still have my original CD Key along with the CD Key for the expansion "Battlefield: The Road to Rome".

THaTS so coool! im going to practice for that!so far im still perfecting for short landings.also how can i download more maps ?i downloaded omaha beach but it wont show or recognize my files.which maps have the ju stuka?i heard people dont use it that much because of its turning.I love that Plane!

Yeaaaaah, it was super fun. I used to love doing it over bridges and having the plane loop around the bridge while I flew up!

Download Omaha Beach? I'm fairly sure it's one of the default maps, no?

I know Battle of Britain has the Stuka (Germans), but I honestly don't remember anything else hahahah.


You should look up and install the Desert Combat mod. THAT was freakin' fun. It's basically modern war with TONS of vehicles! SR-71 Blackbirds, B-1 Stealth fighters/bombers, missles you can control (Tomahawk) from the ships, Thunderbolt II's (my favorite), helicopters, AC-130's (my second favorite) and tons more man. Definitely get it!
