Who here plays sports? I'm on my high school's cross country team. Our most recent race was on Saturday, during the hottest day of the heat wave here in SoCal. Gosh, it was hot. :pinch:

Anyways, what do you guys play?

Le Parkour/Free-Running, Krav Maga and longboarding.

I'm not a fan of traditional sports. :P

Sounds very interesting, Slenderman! I only know Krav Maga from what little I have read about it. Used by Israeli Masad. How long have you been involved with it? I have experience with Jeet Kune Do & Savate as well as traditional boxing and some wrestling.
Not familiar at all with Le Parkour.
I do love road bicycling.

I thought you played ice hockey?

What are the requirements to be a sport, Hamers?

That's cool Luna. How hot was it?

I'm playing JV baseball, a summer leauge, and me and some friends are going to coach a team. I play basketball and football with my friends, but not organized. Just pickup games.

Watch the news report on that link. It was at least 105°, and we aren't very used to that kind of weather.

I play table tennis, billiards, and many other table sports. I'm planning on buying a parachute and wing-suit asap. my dad has been skydiving since before I was born so early 80's and still does, he also has a plane with a jump door(kinda like a lambo door for those who don't know it opens upward instead of forward)but he has yet to let me jump with his rig even though I have watched ground lessons my whole life and probably know more about the actual forces at work than he does. However my brother has a plane also and he is totally up for taking turns flying and jumping so hopefully we will be doing this soon.

Between $700 and $2,000. Unless we were to decide to make one, the sewing wouldn't be too difficult and just have to go off of other designs.

Technically by both of us being aircraft mechanics and also experienced parachute makers(scaled down toy parachutes but modern Ram-air/square parachutes just the same) not to mention the parachute riggers test wouldn't be hard for either of us to get. Just taking the test really. We are probably closer to Pros than most of the mindless adrenaline junkies/skydivers that I know.

2 - I run 8 km (about 5 miles) four days a week -> My legs are in permanent pain.

3 - I play chess at www.gameknot.com -> My morale is in permanent pain...

Travel team: lacrosse
Other activities: skimming, bodyboarding, and other sport with friends. Except football cant stand football.

@slenderman- i dont think longboarding is a sport, same with running. Dont know what the other thing is.

@ ktheo- i would surf if i could buy one, so i am savong up for one that cost like $800. I already learned how to and everything.

If you said that chess or baby carrying aren't sports, I should even think about agree to you (maybe!). But running? Man, you are taking from me the only real sport I practice... hahahahahahahahahahahaha

No there are a lot of us older pilots here. We just type more slowly lol.

I ride horses and am getting back into target shooting. Both questionable from a cardio perspective, but they keep the mind sharp.
