It seems that ever since we lost a few members, our forum activity has died off a little. I see a few that post on a regular basis, but where are all of the other members? Come on everybody lets get this thing wound up again! On our squad thread, on the forum in general, and on our own squad site. We really need to step up our overall communication with not only our own squad but with the entire dogfight community. We have to keep pushing for squad wars to come, and we need to be ready for it when it gets here. I suggest we all make a list of what time each member usually plays and then we can have divisions/groups of members who play at the same times and get good at what they do.

Many folks in America started up school, have work, etc.

Squadrons are fun -- but lets face it. Everyone is waiting for squadron wars to begin. I see a massive jump in activity when it releases. In all squadrons.

Well said slender. All our squadrons have is community so we can pretty much just talk. Squad wars will add a lot more substance to that aspect of the game.

We need to get good at flying with each other and learn to know each others tactics so that we will be able to have anyone lead at any time and still be just as strong because everyone knows what everyone else is probably going to do as it happens.

When I started I wouldn't fire at fellow squad members but now I focus more on attacking fellow squad members (usually just in FFA). Just so I can know how they fight so that when squad was finally hits I will know exactly where everyone strengths lay.

This isn't something exclusive to Enigma. I think you're comparing with M.O.M which is a brand new squadron. Of course there will be more activity there.


What it all comes down to is the members themselves. I've tried hiring coordinators to plan practices -- but they're too busy. I try hiring others. They forget. I hold them myself -- 5 people are on (which isn't too bad).

It all comes down to the really dedicated Enigma staff such as Calvin, Black Flag, myself and others. We've poured a lot of work into creating tools, a codec, schedules, websites and other utilities. But people are either too busy or too lazy, hahahah.


But as I said -- I expect a large turn around when Squadron Wars begin. With all of the squadrons.

Hello everyone.....sorry i havnt been on the enigma thread much, or on the forum. I have been busy building houses etc......i do play some, but have been a little discouraged lately in the game. Almost considered leaving because of a combination of lag and my skill.....I am a very competetive player (competetive at everything).....when i have a string of bad games, it kinda discourages me from playing.....BUT i will get over it.....etc......

Yeah, the website will start to get heavy use too, once squad wars start.

Speaking of the website, Slender, on the one I made (the one at Spruz), I made some additions to the Codex. Can I email them to you? Or would you prefer to sign up and just copy them?

Nah, don't quit, Jackson. I don't play a whole lot right now, and I never play enough at one time to reach my full potential. Usually just a game or two.

on our enigma website, are we supposed to log in on eforum? i click on it few days ago and it asked me to create user name and password. anyway, i did but it still saying waiting for approval.

yes, so I'd say it's coming in 3-5 months. just an estimate, no fact to back it up. just seems reasonable.
