What"s jimmie?

I'm still waiting on KPTN's "Goat Curry" receipe. I"m rasing a goat now and she's looking mighty tasty. I do like the milk though!

the horror

here it goes,

Masala Fish Curry

serves Six MOM prodigies or one regular old MOM

Ingredients

6 fish (assorted varities) of your choice
1 tbsp refined oil
1 tbsp garlic paste
½ tbsp ginger paste
1 big/2 small onion ground into a paste
2-3 medium sized tomatoes pureed
1-2 cloves
4-6 black peppercorns
1 cinnamon stick
1 bay leaf
½ bowl beaten curd
¼ tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp chilly powder
¼ garam masala
2 green chillies
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves

Steps

Heat oil in a wok, add bay leaves, peppercorns, cinnamon stick and cloves, let them crackle and add ginger and garlic paste, roast the paste on low flame

Once the ginger and garlic paste turns light brown, add the onion paste and cook till it turns dark

Now tip in the pureed tomatoes, salt, turmeric, coriander and red chilly powder and cook well, till all the water from tomatoes is absorbed and all the spices blend well

Add the fish, cover with a lid and cook for about 5 minutes on medium flame

Uncover and create a hole in the middle of the wok, reduce the flame and add cold, beaten curd(beat the curd and pass it through a sieve to free it of any lumps); gradually fold in the curry, cover and cook once again for about 15 minutes or till the fish becomes tender, keep stirring at regular intervals

Finally, add some garam masala, serve in a dish and garnish with green chillies and coriander leaves

Enjoy the fiery and tangy fish curry with steamed rice

this is how i fly !!! :)

Damn that sounds good!

One question, how do you grind up onions into a paste? Do you just dice the hell out of them or what?

Flying fish would seem to be appropriate in this context.

NOW you tell me! She's so sweet. I told my neighbors she is a "hearing goat". What? Can't hear you!

It's funny because I have already been contacted by the city!

I just told them "WE ARE A COUPLE!" With all the news & laws about same sex unions and such...I'll be on CNN soon! What do I care? I can act serious....my name is "DENT"! SSSSHHHHH....CNN never checks!

When they finally figure out it is DENT, too late. Dent is in their data base!

you can outsource the catering to the 111 falcon squad. We offer reasonable rates, and all sorts of dishes are available except for anything to do with Falcons. correction, we do offer falcons, but you will have to SERVE them :)

Roasted Falcon - one of our signature dishes lol. That recipe sounds like a fish curry I had recently. I think it was a Goa Fish Curry if I recall correctly.

THANK YOU! The rest of us were wondering what "FALCONS" do!

WE will deliver FALCONS to all squadrons. If your squadron can SPELL squadron!

Tastes like CHICKEN! DEEP FRIED! (So does cat)
