Welcome Stang! My advice...join one. Read the different squad threads and you'll get a good idea who matches for you. Don't go by the outdated Jasta/Skorp stuff. Allied & Legacy are good folks. Once that team gets going & matures as a team....it could be formidable.

Basically, what Paul up there said. I highly recommend joining a squad rather that creating a new one. Skysharks, The 74th Division, and even my own squadron are all great squads to choose from. Or, if you feel you're skilled enough, you might even take a shot at the more powerful squadrons, such as the Enigma Corps, the 111th Falcon Squadron, or M.O.M.

I'm ex-Falcon, and I can tell you, it's excellent. Any of the squads listed above are great choices. In the end, it's up to you.

Everyone knows who you are, no durr :P

If you're pretty new, you probably won't be able to get into an elite clan like Enigma or Falcon, but there are plenty of newer squads recruiting lower level players. Once you get high enough you might try for one of the best ones. But since there are already a lot of squads I'd take the guys' above my posts' advice. If you really want, though, you could probably give a new squad a shot. It would probably be difficult, though.

Yeah, I'd advise joining the 74th, the Sharpshooters, the NLRAF, Kamakazi, Jasta or the Skorpians. They're all small squads that need members. :)

Ya we don't have squad contests yet. And just becouse enigma or mom has more ppl if you join a small one like mine you might get a position of responsibility and if you join a big squad how will small ones grow?
