"From my daddy's loins"! Sorry, couldn't resist. Anybody remember Buford T. Justise (Jackie Gleason) in "Smokey And The Bandit"? I am from Abilene Texas by way of Fordyce Arkansas where I was born & raised. I must say that I like Texas so much better than Arkansas or any other state that I have ever visited.
 which was quite a few back when I worked construction. |

i was born and raised in the philippines but now residing in southeast texas. over all, texas is a great state but if you don't like mosquitos, humidity and murky stagnant river water don't come to southeasttexas or southwest louisiana. im about 20 miles to the stateline. the texas hillcountry is a great place to come visit here in texas especially if you like outdoor stuff. one more thing about texas. texans are tuff. if they hear you speak your native language, they'll tell you right away "hey this is america! speak mexican!"...the texan part is just a joke guys.

In Mexico the weathers unpredictable It rains everyday then for a week it doesn't rain then it rains but really weird clouds

Scotland is not dull it is a great place but u don't want to go in winter only if u like temp. In -30

ikr but texas is worse one day i went outside to play soccer, it was partly cloudy. I went back in to get my stuff, but just then i heard thunder and it was raining HARD. see in texas it can be raining one minute, sunny the next, and even snowing the next. its like God is just playing with texas
