I was born in Illinois, where my dad was first stationed. We moved to a military base out in the Mojave Desert when I was three, a place in the middle of nowhere called 29 Palms.

Then, right before Kindergarten, we moved here to San Diego. He's been stationed in this area (Camp Pendleton [13th Marine Expiditionary Unit], and the Coranado Naval Base [Naval Special Warfare Group 3]), so we've lived here ever since.

I'm from Fort Mill, South Carolina. Not even a minute from Carowinds. Haha it would take me 5 minutes to walk across the state line and into North Carolina. Lol

I'm from Texas! Out in central Texas, where my mom's side lives, (i'm visiting them till friday) you see more cowboy hats than baseball caps, more jeans than sports, more work boots than $100 tennis shoes, and more people who'd treat ya like family even though they hardly know ya than "normal" people, and don't let me forget more heavy duty trucks pulling horse trailers than boats on trailers, and more large pastures than closely packed cities and more hunting and rodeoing than swimming or boating.

Go Texas, the only state that controls the waters up to 100 miles off land from Texas while all other states only get to control water 10 miles out, just one of the perks that come with once being an independent nation.

If I'm not mistaken, Texas has extra rights because of the fact that it was a nation for about 8 years and 11 months, compared to California's 26 days plus, I don't think California was recognized as an official nation, and since Texas was, no offense meant, it has rights as far as jurisdiction over offshore water, if i'm correct ( still not sure on this, heard it years ago, so the memory is fuzzy), on par with official nations, and Texas still has the right to secede at any time, while other states can't without national government involvement. Again, if i'm correct. Of Course, if the current, and future governors of Texas are smart, they won't secede at a time like this, in which Texas is still recovering from a drought that cost money in the what? 9 or 10, maybe 11 or 12 digits range? That would be a politically suicidal move. Of course, the Buckey's ( not sure if that's spelled right ) convenience store chain, with all it's massive epicness and amazing beef jerky, would have that gone nearly instantly.
