I have been doing this for 12-1/2 years now to help fund my numerous hobbies & pastimes. It even helped me to purchase a couple of AR15's. Another side benefit if you will is that during screening where blood pressure is checked, amoung other things, it was discovered that my BP was "borderline hypertension". Understandable since high BP runs on both sides of my family. My mom & dad are both taking BP meds and now, after trip to my doctor, so am I. And while I was there anyway, I went ahead and yielded to a complete physical since I had never had one and, being over 50 it involved the "one finger wave", better known as the dreaded prostate exame.

Get a colonostomy, too. And ask for copies of the pics. The colors are amazing!

I started to mention that in my original post but, I am still trying to get psyched up for it. I remember how it was a few years ago when my wife had that procedure and I have heard from a few other folks that have also had it done.

Yeah, I know it is something that needs to be done.

The actual procedure isn't a big deal. It's the day before prep that.....

Actually, in all seriousness, everyone should know about it.
You have to cleanse your system, then they do the painless "procedure" and everything is fine. We hope & pray.
Nothing to be afraid of. Besides, pictures are cool.

If we kept it from our younger friends they would be scared. And there are no reason to be afraid of it. It doesn't hurt. The meds they give you.....you won't remember it. That's what we old farts are to help our young friends get older, aren't we? Life?
