I hope it is ok for me to start new topic on this. I mentioned it before in another thread "Other Games". I guess I was hoping that perhaps some real pilots could check it out and give feedback. I found it in the Android market. It is not really a competitor to Dogfight as it seems to be more of an actual flight simulator than merely just a game. It even has an online PDF manual which I downloaded and printed out from their website.

Xplane is also a apple thing there's tons on apple.

I dont like X-Plane...to many downloads for all aircraft....With no other true aircraft in the sky....like flying over a nuclear blast site. Plus the price tag is outrageous. Maybe try it again when others fly in your airspace...and more planes & helicopters in main app/download.

Gamekeeper, I do understand what you mean. I think it's just because I am so fascinated by flying. Since I doubt that I will ever be able to afford flying leassons, I am constantly looking for better & better ways to get as close as I can to experiencing something even remotely like it. I do remember a few years ago someone in my area advertising that for $50 he would take you up in plane and let you actually take controls briefly. I would settle for even that right now.

That would be fun going on a "Fly Along" but I rather spend the extra cash......buy a RC(Remote Control) Gulf Stream may cost more now....but your fun wont fade like the memory of the Fly Along.

Hey, great idea! And one that I could manage even with my budget. Plus, there used to be, and probably still is, an RC plane club in my area.

Now, I need to begin researching which RC plane would be best for me.

Just joking about wife. I do have more hobbies than I can afford. But, my wife has mentioned in the past how she would like for us to try some kind of RC plane or helicopter. That was some years ago. Ace in the hole perhaps.
