I remember the first day I started playing this game. I was so excited to find something that was fun and exciting on my Kindle Fire. My first time I absolutely sucked. I kept being horrible for so long it was unreal. My first kill was so exciting I didn't even realize it had actually happened.
I used to spawn kill so much because I had absolutely no skills in the air whatsoever. It took me so long to even get my second kill. Recently, I started getting my confidence in the air. The other day I actually got 37 kills, my record. It was crazy, because I was used to having about 3 to 10 kills per game.
As a beginner (I still feel like a beginner with all the experience in the air) I still am getting used to the fast planes along with the bomb not keeping me steady. I literally shake my head sometimes because I'll be right behind someone and still miss because I'm constantly shifting the plane. It's quite frustrating. With the bomb on, I do a lot more damage..but I know I cant be used to that. Ahh...the life of a new pilot in a world of victors.

All sounds pretty normal. :) Heck, that sounds like me except for the spawnkilling.

Did you ever have an ace teach you?

I haven't had anyone teach me anything. I stayed quiet for the longest time. Didn't even know about the forum till last month. Now I ccan contact people, ask questions, and get involved with the community.

i hated being a noob and i dont even remember my first kill. Unlike a lot of aces a superace or even an ace didnt teach me any tricks. :(

The first memory i have is when i was about a week into the game and i had a head on with dentinhead - we didnt shoot eachother down but merely crashed in mid air whilst firing at eachother lol - since then it has become common for us to do it and is a standing joke between us (thats what i love about df - it is serious but fun)
The following user(s) said Thank You: Dentinhead

Killernadger...That's sometimes how I feel! Noons has taught me. It's been hard but fun learning how to do things.
As a member of the Skysharks, I'm proud to say I just won my first all plane shooting dogfights. 16 kills. The most ive had with a plane. It was a great game and I might have actually recruited someone. Looking forward to the results. I felt confident in the air..relaxed. So much of the time I'm on edge and I get all twitchy. Lol
That's funny mad. I think ive faced both you and dentinhead a couple times. It was always interesting! I love that the Falcon squad is nice and talkative. Great squadron right there. I was asked by Luna6 to join the 11th, but it never went anywhere. I'm enjoying being part of the Skysharks as a recruiting officer. It gives me the position not only to recruit, but to also bring people that aren't a part of the fforum in! Tell them what they're missing out! Great experience for me being vocal and letting people know that its not just a game, it's a community.
