Calvin,
Regarding tanks in dogfight...agree to disagree. No issues with tanks in team mode but one smart tank driver in dogfight can win the game and players that try to take him out are usually shot down but someone else unaware of what they are trying to do. Maybe when I get better at aiming at tanks this will be less of an issue for me.
Regarding the names behind a mountain, it's just that (real planes). My problem is that I play on my phone so the map is pretty useless other than general location. I plugged my phone into the TV (HDMI cable) and was shocked to see that my location was marked on the map by an airplane icon! Looks just like a white dot on my phone.
My problem with this is during dogfights. You are in a turning battle looking for a quick kill on someone else (or trying to spot your adversary) and you see the icon. Agree, it's just something that I have to get use to but sneaking up on a plane by using the terrain would be kind of cool.
Surprised that the tank problem may be specific to me. I can be rocking along going forward and the stick just stops with the forward progress. I can go in reverse but sometimes that doesn't work either. If you ever see me in a tank, odds are I will be going backwards.
Regarding sucking...yes, at lots of things.
"Kill with no exceptions"...interesting. No on tank spawn killing in dogfight mode. I'm probably fine with everything else. The only exception I will make is new players on the runway (let them take off) so maybe I'll only be slightly unpopular (a step up from my high school days I must say).
I have shared the skies with SkyDavis and Ysmen and I enjoy being on their team then being on the other side. Watching a couple of these guys go at from a distance is fun. I wonder if my plane does the same things when I'm in a dogfight. I fear not, but it is educational to watch their moves.
Until we meet in the skies,
Zandor
