There should be different classes of fighters and bombers. For example, the bomber would carry multiple bombs, take 2 hits on each engine to kill it, but it is slow, unmaneuverable, have very weak guns, and only a few bullets. The interceptor, the exact opposite, should be fast, have powerful guns with lots of ammo, be extremely maneuverable, but is very weak and can not hold bombs. In between the bomber and the interceptor should be the fighter-bomber. This should have medium speed and maneuverability, guns with moderate power and ammo capacity, and be able to carry one bomb. Let's have some variety in our fighters, please. Make the game a little bit more team-based.

This is a great idea, except for two things: Cash, and the number of players.

Z (The developer of Dogfight) needs money for development. That's why we're still waiting on squad wars. :)If you can afford it, pay for the monthly subscription instead of the lifetime. He'll eventually make more money off it. Write a good reveiw in the appstore and the android market, too.

There arent enough people per game, for one thing. If there were 50 people per team, this would be fantastic. Unfortunately, there are (theoretically) four people per team. You couldn't have the diverse team that this kind of thing is suited to, where the light interceptors zoom around and pepper the heavy bombers while the larger fighter planes hold off the quick interceptors. The bombers try to get through under escort from the fighters in order to bomb. Great idea, but not good for Dogfight in my opinion.

Also, only the more advanced players could afford the new planes. The newbies would get angrier than they do already with the superior planes the aces fly because they wouldn't get to fly the bombers, interceptors, etc.

I still wouldn't have an SE5A if I hadn't placed second in a contest Z ran. It takes a long time to get new planes.

Team chat has the same development problem. There's no cash.

Well i have a idea. How about one of us email z and fine out how much money he needs to continue working on dogfight. Once we find out we can all go and buy some points for a donation. If all of us on this forum go and buy at least 50,000 points which is $1.98 we could probably get z more than 100 dollars easy to get us our squad wars and new planes. The you calvien could possibly buy upgrades for your planes and can have some fun with the quick planes.

z is working on a multiperson bomber. it was also suggested he go look on militaryfactory.com for more ww1 planes and vehicles.

the junkers CL.I was the first metal plane. it was made in the last year of ww1. it was only 100mph but was armored heavly.

Well i emaled him and he replied that it would be around $4,000 to $5,000 dollars to get new planes and squad wars out. That was his rough estimate . So i advise people to start buying points now if we want anything new lol.

He said he would make a bomber a year ago or so.

Yeah, I'll ask my parents if I can buy some points. I don't need 'em anymore since I placed in that contest. Got my SE5A and Albatross upgraded and bought the $15,000 Nuiport. Lol, the SE5A is too big for me. I'm too big a target head on. Sky, you remember me in my Fokker, right? My deaths went up quite a bit when I started using the first Albatross. It's wayyy worse going from my Nuiport to the SE5A. It helps in a turn, but most people are glad to oblige me and get shot at head on. Maybe when I get better in a turn.

I can't come close to getting top plane becouse everytime I get enought I accedently buy a plane like the fockker e. I asked z to add a sell( he said yes but never put it in) and a confermation (again yes but never put in)

He did add a confirmation, though. I would know, I just bought new stuff.

He hasn't put it because he is 4,000 5,000 short.
