When the server is full, rather than complain about something which cannot be fixed right away, I fly X-Plane 9. Lots of planes, great graphics, dogfight with jets & world war 2 planes. World-wide scenery, weather modification, from sailplanes & helicopters to a rocket plane, carrier operations, bush pilot, emergency situations, instrument flight, ceate your own scenarios. Great practice for this game! What other simulators do you use?

If you are on T-Mobile & fly this simulator, let me know so we can try to fly at the same time.

Great! :) To join, go to dogfightplay.com/management/squadsjoin , enter your information, (your in game info, not the forum), and select Enigma. If you want, you can hit "tools" at the top of the page, and change your name to have an [e] infront. Its optional, but most people do it. :)

See ya in the skies! :)

I drink a pitcher of martinis and fly around my house for a bit before crashing. If there's a moth in the house, I pretend it's Bomber chasing me. Pretty much the best simulation of the game I've found.

It's not stimulating. It's about as depressing as most of my games.

I don't think I've shot you down. We were briefly on the same team a couple times yesterday, though.

One thing that's kind of a downer is that as I gain rank (like I did yesterday) the further I fall in the overall standings. Pretty much takes the motivation away.

That, my friend, is called the Peter Principle, I believe.
Once you are competent at your job, you get promoted. Then you feel incompetent all over again.
I don't shoot a lot of people down, mainly because I can't see them, so I concentrate on completing the mission. That provides me with satisfaction. I just completed a helicopter emergency rescue mission, on X-Plane 9. Like when I was in the Coast Guard. Thunder and lightning, high gusty winds, at night. No points. Just the satisfaction that the mission was complete. I apply that here by doing everything I can to use my strengths towards mission completion. The regular missions & the ones as PHOTOPLANE. Mission complete! Just as in "real" life.
Oh & CONGRATULATIONS!
