When someone gets a private message does that person get a email notification that they got a private message. If so then I might know a way to get gyshan back to dogfight. When u use the private message does it use ur email to sent the message or just some kind of new thing.

Its totally seperate from email. You might get a notification, but the system sends it thru this site, maybe with an email, but not routed thru your email.

Nah, you only get an email notification from a forum post you've been subscribed to. You get subscribed by default when you post in a thread.

Mine is sent through an email address. I only subscribe to a couple of important threads. When an email comes in during flight, my notification tone is an old fashioned radio voice saying that important orders have arrived. It helps to maintain the feeling of the time. Other mail has a different notification tone.
Bomer, I think you'll enjoy using private message when you get used to it. It is a very handy tool. It helps to express what you're feeling and maintain your privacy at the same time. Good luck with it.

Yes, but I'm afraid that I must honor his privacy and not disclose it to the forum.
