Flying here is a privilege not a right, Using foul language and being racist is wrong absolutely! You can be banned, And rightly so, So all your doing is losing money. Go somewhere else if you just want to be vulgar! Use this thread if you want to report somebody. That way all of us can see who we don't want to fly with!

Theres currently no name filter. Slenderman instantly bans anyone with a vulgar name tho.

Actually, Jeff, you buy a LICENCE to play dogfight. You dont purchase anything physical. You can use it, unless you violate the rules. Even if your banned, its just the account, not your app. I believe Z would have to submit a request to appel (sorry slender

) to have the app revoked, and make someone download and pay again. Anyway, if your not doing anything wrong, then you certainly are welcome here. However, if you break rules and offend people, then there needs to be a penalty.

As for reporting people, I've seen LOTS of "fukyousmokeweed" type players. Yes, that is an actuall example, and it would have been nice for a mod to be there so we wouldnt have had to deal with the pothead....

Before this goes to far. Go to technologizer.com. and read the article entitled. "NOTE TO RUDE GAMERS". It is only one of many informative articles explaining the law. In short, a guy tried to sue Sony because he was banned. The judge threw his case out. It is a quick and easy read and you will then understand where everyone truly stands on this subject.

I only mute players who use excessive foul language. I'll let it slide a few times, but when it starts sounding like an episode of the TV show "The Osbournes", I have a problem.

Speaking of which -- LOL@ the Dogfight reviews. Some player was whining and crying that I muted them "over their email name". I have no idea where they got that idea from, considering I only mute players who curse/excessive trash talking.

But still -- it had me laughing.

I'll agree and disagree .... for an example : lets use a spawning attack. We've all been their- and a player on the receiving end will get upset and share there words. I'm not saying its OK but understandable so it will happen. But where I take your point on continuously abuse of the game and players with just foul language, I share this, we are here to have fun, its a great expirience for me to play and meets some new friends. Its rare to have such a game that allow threads like Dog Fight for its players to share all kinds of ideas and also to weed out the wrongers when there only attempt is to corrupt and disrupt the game itself. Well I say to them be carefull, because documentation is taking place, right here, and eventually you will have been a Dog Fight player once upon a time.

Yeah, i hate idots with names like that. I try to make em as mad as possible so they hate the game and dont come back. Closest thing to a ban function I've got, and it works effectively. Most aces know me, so I get everyone to gang up on the little pricks and get rid of em. Something i would NEVER do to a real player, if theres someone thats a threat to my base, i kill them personally. If theres a threat to the game as a whole, like a teamkiller (who is experienced enough to know who to kill", someone swearing excessively, or having an idotic name. (Fuckyousmokeweed is an example of an idiot who should be disposed of in a volcano.) Of course, I try to get them to stop, but if they wont change, i try to get rid of them. Fortunately, most of the time they do.

Hmm, I encountered him in-game over the weekend and politely texted him that his name was inappropriate and to change his name. At first he thought I was kidding, but then asked if I was admin. When I said yes, he left the game, only to come back & ask how to do it. I told him website or link to forum from the game menu. He was clueless, but didn't return to that game anyway. It seems his attitude has worsened significantly eh?

If you intend to use profanity and obstruct others from their enjoyment, then be advised, a record of what you say will be forwarded to those who have the power to ban. Squadron members from all squadrons and I have been communicating, as well as several who are not members of squadrons, & have decided to take this measure in hopes of adding to everyone's enjoyment. That really made me laugh. Not reading it is an impossibility. Think it. Type it. Just don't hit send. Would you want someone you don't know cussing around your family? That's who plays this game. Families. There are grandmothers and grandfathers, mothers and fathers, & sisters and brothers. It's just not polite.

As a christian....husband...and father of 3....i know what self control is.....when the thought comes into yours or mine head (cussing), thats where it ahould stop. It doesnt have to come out of our mouths. Nor should it come down to our fingertips and on to the keyboard(chat)
